Where are those mocking us ‘patterns of play’ idiots? Terrible team, zero ideas, zero identity and zero cohesion. We play far too few passes as a top team. We are never going to get far when we can only rely upon a player carrying the ball 40 yards or a one touch pass 40 yards in order to make any progress with the ball. We cannot progress the football from back to front incrementally. I’m tired of this hit and hope football, and particularly annoyed that we went and got a Dutch Ajax coach and STILL end up with this.
