Some of these oldies could do a job in our current team!

There's a lot of confidence too, i know it's a memorial game, but that used to be a thing about the Fergie sides, they always played with confidence, nobody was afraid. I remember seeing them getting owned by Messi and by Ronaldo before he got fat, but even then, there wasn't a fear.

You're not wrong. Even in a charity match long after he's retired he's showing fight and determination. He sprinted almost the length of the field behind Saha when he scored. The ball was never coming his way but he still made his way up the field just in case there was a second ball.

You can see with Scholes, too. He's there to win regardless of the occasion.

Brilliant day out. Great to see Denis Irwin bombing up and down. A day tinged with sadness also. RIP Liam. That’s what Cork thinks of you!
