He wrote absolute nonsense and still produced some cracking stuff. Long live rock and roll.

Absolutely great tune. Music nerds are so weird about rock and roll. Just because it was one of the first deeply formulaic forms of pop music. As if most of the shit they love that was made since isn't every bit as paint by fecking numbers.

And his piano playing was great too. A real entertainer. Little Richard next to Pat Boone I agree would have been more than chaos. It would have been absolute chaos.
