vs

Team Lord

Formation: 4-3-1-2

Style: Direct.

Tactics: My team's aim is to get hold of the midfield and than try to play the ball to the front two as quickly as possibly, whether it is the long passing of Thon or Antognoni, or creative passing or Rivera or crosses/long balls of Kaltz/Irwin. Puskas would use not only his goal scoring instinct but also his creative talent to try and lay off creative balls to on rushing Rivera, Antognoni, Thon or Irwin/Kaltz. Than upfront we always have the monster goal scorer in Lewandowski.

In goal is one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time in Zoff, two world class full backs who are great both on and off the ball with Irwin and Kaltz, a monster stopper in Forster and a world class defender and a great leader Puyol, a hard working, tough yet supremely talented midfield of Antognoni, Benetti and Thon behind a mercurial Rivera who is playing off to two monsters named Puskas and Lewandowski.

Team Skizzo

Formation - 433

The general idea is easy enough to grasp, nothing overly fancy, so just a quick overview on a couple of players.

Telmo Zarra

Records

  • Top scorer in the history of the Copa del Rey(81 goals)
  • Top scorer in the history of Athletic Club (332 goals)
  • Second most Pichichi trophies (6)
  • Most goals in a Copa del Rey Final (4 – 1950)
  • Top scorer in the Basque Derby vs Real Sociedad14)
  • Top scorer in El Viejo Clasico vs Real Madrid (22)
  • and six time winner of Pichichi Trophy: 1944–45, 1945–46, 1946–47, 1949–50, 1950–51, 1952–53
He became a prolific goalscorer in his 15 seasons at the club, winning the Pichichi Trophy as the highest scorer in La Liga on six occasions. During his career, Zarra scored a total of 251 league goals, a Spanish record that lasted nearly six decades before being broken by Lionel Messi. His 81 goals in the Copa del Rey remain a record.

Despite his goalscoring records, he only played for Spain 20 times. Even so, he still managed to score 20 goals, including four in one match as Spain beat Switzerland 6–3 on 18 February 1951. He also scored his country's winning goal against England in the 1950 World Cup finals as Spain reached the final four—their best performance in the competition until winning the 2010 FIFA World Cup 60 years later.

The Zarra Trophy for the highest-scoring Spaniard in La Liga is awarded in his memory.

Youri Djorkaeff

Joined Bolton a couple of years after winning the World Cup and European Championships with France. He operated in the attacked third across the front line, and would drift side to side, swapping with Simonsen, and be the secondary player getting into the box.

Theo Hernandez

Young French left back who plays for Milan.

Individual
  • AC Milan Player of the Season: 2019-2020
  • Serie A Team of the Year: 2019-2020

One of the most interesting duels in the first round with plenty areas open to a debate.
