At least they're not the last to pull out.

The UK government  They're actually shit scared that they'll lose part of their ownership. Love it.

Great news though. Can finally breathe again. Now go and finish off the Glazers and kick them out for good.

Do you think Ed W was competent enough not to have signed into any penalty clauses?
Ed, the Ed we know and love? Of course he knows all about penalty clauses. In fact he has scored some in Fantasy Football.

Feels nice that these horrible little wankers got shot down so firmly. Especially JP Morgan and the Blazers, hope they're feeling really sore after this one.

Absolute p*ssies. Too scared to post an official announcement on twitter about joining the super league, but hiding with their tail between their legs now.

I don't get people dragging the entire clubs through the mud around this. Its the owners that have done this. Players, staff, fans have all attacked the proposals. Criticise the individuals involved not the entire club. The Glazers are not Manchester United.

Get the feck in everyone. Great day, probably the best in 2021 so far.

Wankers usually feel sore especially today. I prefer the Suits or the Cardigans though.

Not even a sorry, they are absolutely shameless. Trying to pass it off like they weren't the ones spearheading this whole thing, Joel was quick to put himself right at the top, what a disgusting creature

So what now? Where do we go from here. More than ever before, we need new owners.

It is almost as if they knew that if they announced the joining on twitter, they would get serious backlash.

Then why join at all.

Glazers should get the feck out of this club ASAP. There’s no more justification for them to stay. The backlash of all this, from players, manager and the fans should be directed towards those leaches.

Thank feck for that. So, so relieved. Was fearing the absolute worst. Huge respect to the players across the league, the managers for speaking out against their own employers and the pundits for speaking on behalf of the fans.

Next step, an inquest into football ownership in this country. It has to change.

Exactly, if this is your idea and you want to go forward with it, then be brave and go forward. Don't hide from the consequences of your decisions.

Tottenham's statement was awful!

Edit: ah they've added more

Arsenal's open letter to fans is good

More relieved than happy to see fans still have some voice left in this football club. An apology should've been made to the millions of fans across the world, but these rich cnuts will never admit they made a mistake worth apologizing for.

Even the Glazers didn't have much choice when the whole thing collapsed around them.

Bet the bastards are fuming

'Manchester United will not be participating in the European Super League.

We have listened carefully to the reaction from our fans, the UK government and other key stakeholders, but only after we've humiliated ourselves in public and dragged the name of a proud club through the mud in our wake. We knew everyone with so much as a passing interest in football would loathe this half-cocked load of Yankie bullshit so we concocted it in top secret and announced it in the dead of night, then crossed our fingers, put our phones on airplane mode and hoped no one would notice how fecking disgusting we are.

We remain committed to working with others across the football community to come up with sustainable solutions to the long-term challenges facing the game.'

I would genuinely have preferred nothing but a link to this video:
