Does any manager in world football get this current squad comfortably in the top 4 this season?

Pogba will be missing for the majority of this season, Scott a vital midfielder is out for 2-3 months allegedly, Rashford out for 2-3 months, Martial missing a month near the start of the season, perma-crocks Jones, Dalot, Shaw, Bailey, Rojo all doing their usual. I’m really struggling to see how any manager could compete whilst not getting backed or with this medical staff.

There’s many holes in Ole’s Management/Coaching but he’s doing it with both hands behind his back (or perhaps chained up completely with Ed throwing away the key would be a more apt analogy).

Ridiculous question. Brendan Rodgers is doing that with much less. After we thrashed Lampard Chelsea in the first game, people taught he will fail. Pochettino has done this as well with limited resources and a very overrated squad. This United team is no different and has the capacity to be in the top four as seen with our victory against top teams this season and our 12 game unbeaten streak last season.

Rodgers, Klopp, Guardiola, Pochettino, and to a lesser extent, Lampard, Walder, and Nuno will get this team in the top four based on there respective team performances.

I think it is possible to get this squad into a top 4 position as Chelsea , Arsenal , Spurs etc are also going through a rough time , indeed Ole can still get us in top 4 this season.

But no manager in the world could get this squad of players challenging for titles or anywhere near it , after nearly a billion spent the squad still needs a big overhaul and another wad of investment. But it is a viscous circle the longer we are out of the running for titles the harder it is to attract the elite players and without elite players the longer we remain in the wilderness.
