We've also done it this very season! That’s actually not true. We did it in 2017 under Jose.
It was pointed out here yesterday that United had unchanged team for the City (A) Everton (H) Watford (A) this season.
Yeah first time in my entire career hereGood shout
Hopefully never to be seen againSpeaks volumes about Lingard's position in this squad, not even trusted to make the bench again.
Just my stupid lineup prediction , I love that we went with an unchanged team. Why would you want changes?
This is one of the elements I like the most. Love that we're playing games like that again, its been too long.Ole taking a leaf out of Sir Alex’s book with these lineup mind games
Matic has been brilliant why would you bench him?Of course happy with the line up but concerned about i think it also proves how weak our depth is.
Matic/Shaw should be replacable...
thought they were holding hands from that!
Exactly. So you can play the best and then sub them out when the game is won instead if sending on our best to rescue a match. The fact you can substitute half the team makes picking the same lineup much easier.
good to have consistency.

I think with the opportunity to make 5 subs I'd rather go full strength.Of course happy with the line up but concerned about i think it also proves how weak our depth is.

Matic should rest when he is looking burnt out. This is a very tight top 4 race so there's no room for error and we should be starting our best players and only taking them off when they are underperforming or we are in a comfortable lead.Thought Matic would be rested. This is probably one of easiest games remaining and could have also given Laird or Chong a place in the bench.
Dunno maybe a mass said for him or something! In what regard?
Thought Matic would be rested. This is probably one of easiest games remaining and could have also given Laird or Chong a place in the bench.
There is a reason for that they aren't particularly good ,though there is a impression that teams fighting relegation tend to suddenly come alive during final run but I don't think it's backed by any evidence as such.Bournemouth are fighting against the drop. Can't take things too lightly here. We must be prepared to scrap.
No, you can't take chances.Thought Matic would be rested. This is probably one of easiest games remaining and could have also given Laird or Chong a place in the bench.
Here, here!No Lingard.
Yay.
Win then rest. These players can manage 60 minutes every 3/4 days as long as we use our 5 subs well each game.Thought Matic would be rested. This is probably one of easiest games remaining and could have also given Laird or Chong a place in the bench.
West Ham just beat Chelsea. There is a reason for that they aren't particularly good ,though there is a impression that teams fighting relegation tend to suddenly come alive during final run but I don't think it's backed by any evidence as such.
Trolling the caf lineup predictions too. The only change I made was Fred for Matic as I thought Matic is old and needed a rest.Ole taking a leaf out of Sir Alex’s book with these lineup mind games
Thats not how you manage 'rest' though. You don't wait until the player is burnt out and take him off from the next match. You look for easy matches and bring the backups so thats we still get our job done but the player is well rested ready to help us later.Matic should rest when he is looking burnt out. This is a very tight top 4 race so there's no room for error and we should be starting our best players and only taking them off when they are underperforming or we are in a comfortable lead.
Mitchell should be removed. He left the club end of last month.Gomes removed, Mengi added. Mitchell should already be there.
