Fred is the complete opposite of press resistant. He loses the ball regularly due to sloppiness or simply by being too weak. I expect that of all things, this is why ETH has hooked him at HT both previous games and now dropped him.

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm trying to say as well. It's why he'll never be a truly important part of this rebuild ETH is doing. With that being said, I don't see how Eriksen can help McTominay effectively, I have a feeling McTominay will be heavily criticised after the game, because he'll have to do too much on his own without a suitable midfield partner.
