Apparently Erik has claimed that the players will be angry for today’s game.

Oooooooh….i bet Klopp is trembling. Oh no wait…no he isn’t

feckin’ angry. Try being a fan!
He's said this about 20 times this season, after each defeat.

1 title in 32 years and Scouse Sports think they’re worthy of having almost half the players in a combined XI. The media love-in and bias towards these cnuts is beyond unbearable.

Right, these feckos have a chance to right the wrongs of the last week. Not saying they will, but they have a chance.

Gerrard probably gets in. I would replace the rest with Schmeichel, Vidic, Evra and Giggs (with Ronaldo switching to RW).

You're not allowed to do that. There'd be T-Shirts, songs, and Ricky Tomlinson on TV with an appeal.

Watch this game or goto my allotment and figure out how to keep the rats out of my hen coup… Hmm, what is more likely to make my afternoon rewarding?

    feck me

The first combined XI would have all United players. Second combined team would have Gerrard and maybe Salah. VVD, Robertson and Alison might get a look in once we get to the third string combined XI

Salah is the only player in the first XI.

I really dislike the Scouse feckers as much as the next man but in all honesty they are unfortunately better than that.

I’d love a draw but I’d be absolutely fecking delighted and over the moon if we performa miracle and beat the Scouse feckers again.
    Haha well played.

Pretty sure that Diego Forlan & Juan Mata should be in there too

Allison over Schmeichel or VDS... not for me.

Ratbertson over Irwin and Evra.... fecking hell.

I wouldn't even have VVD in there over Steve Bruce.

Gerrard.. never won it and cost his team the best chance they ever had.

    Salah, I can understand.

There is no way in hell I’m having Gerrard ahead of Carrick for Premier League. Five titles in twelve seasons vs zero in sixteen. Have a word.

Only Gerrard and Salah even have an argument to be included in a PL era combined 11 with Manchester United. Gerrard would definitely get in. Salah is worth a shout too but its a toss up with Giggs. The rest are laughable. Allisson over Schmeichel, Van Dijk over Vidic, Robertson over Evra or Irwin.

It's going to be a fecking blood bath with all the injuries we have, and the way we are currently playing.

We will probably score first then Liverpool will and we will do our usual captiulating. They will run like mad, we will be gassed after 20 minutes

I expect he will play McT in midfield and he will hide

Liverpool have something to play for so they will be manically pressing. We will probably try and show a bit of effort then run out of energy and the floodgates will open, especially with that dodgy defence

Even worse my husband supports Liverpool, so I won't be able to escape the cheering if I've left the room because I can't stand watching it anymore

Use the incentive of potentially stopping them winning the league. Not that Manchester United players should require any incentive they are paid shedloads and should show professionalism each game

The sickening thing is even if we get battered I can't see him getting the sack.

As we don't have hardly any fit defenders let's do what we did in extra time and play with barely any defensive players, just attacking ones and hope we outscore them (joke, or maybe not at this point!)

Maguire has generally done ok lately but I'm getting a feeling he's going to concede a penalty...

Going to stick a £5 bet on Liverpool scoring lots, so at least I get a bit of money in my pain. I did it in the FA cup and last league game against them, so maybe the reverse jinx?! The feckers will probably ease off and rest players a goal below what I'll predict them to get...
It'll be the easiest money ever to put on Liverpool to win if by some chance we are level with them or winning by the 90th minute

They always get late goals and we always concede them
Marrying a Liverpool fan and betting on Liverpool to win.......

Haven’t been able to bear looking at the PL table all season

If United lose, are they officially unable to qualify for the CL?

I already know the team he will pick. Because he actually has no clue what he is doing and has no original ideas of his own, he will pick the exact same 11 that started the FA Cup QF (barring any injury concerns) even though we were completely overrun for 70 minutes in that game. Whenever a clueless manager like Ten Hag stumbles into a lucky win against a big team like the QF win, he will just keep picking the same team that won that game till something terrible happens.

We are going to get dominated again for most of the game like we were in the quarterfinal. Best we can hope for is that Liverpool keep missing.

I'd happily not even enter their half. Whistle goes and we all run to the goal and form a human barrier, interwoven body over body covering every centimeter, the Manchester centipede. Then we wait, getting the ball hammered at our players but not crossing the line, for 90mins (plus how long klopp asks for at the end so about 15mins) and take the 0-0.

Salah gets in. Gerrard, possibly as he worked well with Scholes for a period for England.
    That's it really.

Look at the great players left out of that 11 - Giggs, Beckham, Stam, Vidic, RVP, Ruud, Hughes, and fecking Cantona! My god we were spoiled.

Anyway I had us beating Chelsea and losing to Liverpool, so hopefully I got it the wrong way around.

I'd be okay with Salah and Allison on the bench. Not a single other Liverpool player makes the first team squad. But of course they need to pander to millions of Liverpool fans worldwide, many of whom probably decided to follow Liverpool after Klopp brought some success. That'd explain Van Dijk and Robertson.

I can somehow make my peace with Gerrard and Salah. VVD is a stretch and Alisson over Schmeichel is an even bigger stretch. But Robertson??
The most overrated player from the most overrated team of the last 10 years. Honestly to even mention him with Irwin and Evra is an insult. He had 4 very good seasons between 18/9 and 21/22 and that's it. The guy benefited massively from Klopp's tactics of crowding the middle of the pitch with workhorses and leaving the fullbacks to overlap as much as possible. He is not a great defender and rather poor infront of goal. He has a very good passing and crossing ability and he is tenacious. It ends there. Even if I'm trying to make a case for him it's not possible.

Even Luke Shaw is a much better footballer and a better defender. It's just that he is constantly injured and playing for a team that hasn't utilized a specific tactic for over 10 years so his stats are rather poor.

Before the Chelsea game, I'd have gone with Rashford, Hojlund and Garnacho, but Antony has been showing signs of decent form of late, playing a big part in us beating Liverpool in the FA Cup, and arguably our best player against Chelsea. Therefore, I believe ten Hag may keep him in, meaning Hojlund, Rashford or Garnacho has to drop out.

With Rashford, ten Hag basically said that he rested him against Chelsea, and so you'd expect him to come back in. He's also a big game player. Not sure what his record is, but that should certainly go in his favour.

Garnacho, at 19, has been our most consistent attacking player this season. Again, superb the other night against Chelsea, deservedly bagging two goals. He needs to start! The only thing I worry about is him being overplayed. As I said, he's only 19, so he needs to be looked after.

Then you have Hojlund, who I think he's been quite poor since coming back from his injury. Therefore, I feel if anyone is going to come out of the team, it could be him.

Alternatively, ten Hag could just go with the front three that played in the FA Cup, with the likes of Antony, Amad, Mount and co. coming on to hopefully have an impact on the game in some capacity.

We are going to lose 1-3

    ..................Onana..........

    Dalot.Maguire.Kambwala...AWB
    ........Mainoo.....McT..................
    ...................Bruno.......................
    Antony................................Garnacho
    ...................Højlund..........................

This is how I think we will line up. But I would prefer McT in central defence instead of Kambwala. Kambwala is no where near good enough, and McT is not a perfect choice, but he does have experience.
If you were to put McTominay at centre back, who would you out next to Mainoo in midfield?

I'd say most fans would want to see Bruno dropped and Diallo given a go. You know it'll be the same ole rubbish, time and time again.
