The ex United youth product and player seems to being doing a remarkable job with Coventry at the moment. He took over as manager in 2017-18 when they were in League 2. Since then he's won the FA Trophy, got them promoted through the playoffs to League One, won League 1 with only 3 defeats in the season, kept them in the Championship and this season is challenging for playoffs or perhaps even the title. Apparently he's done all this on a budget too. His record before in management was mixed in the lower leagues. Are there any Coventry watchers that can shed some light on how all this has happened?
