This kid looks really good. Saw him against us in the season, but now watching England Under 17s, he is outstanding

Last match against Czech Republic. His goal made him the youngest ever scorer at this tournament.

He's going on tour with the first team this summer, will be interesting to see how he does against senior players.
MLS+ Nwaneri+Dowman, they all need to get locked down for eternity.

He’s broadly recognised as the best of his age in the country. Top, top talent. Arsenal are producing some real gems at the moment.

Arsenal churning out quality players right now

Looks like they've produced us another gem.

Never seen Odegaard do anything that impressive, although never saw him at U17 level tbf
He was toying with senior players in the Norwegian league at the same age. Although Norwegian league isn't all that, I'd like to think it could match the U18 league.

Looking forward to picking him up for 1.5m when Arteta sees that he's not that great at taking corners.

Why do you think he's been training with the first team squad the past 6 months....to work on his set piece delivery?!!

I mean, looking at the current Arsenal, can you rule it out?

Maximise every weapon in your Arsenal mate. We've conceded near 50% of our goals from set pieces as well so swings & roundabouts eh?

Heaven & obi are cast offs?

I thought the emoji would show its a tongue in cheek comment, in reply to another tongue in cheek comment.

Maybe you need to diversify your standard coaching. Go with an offense and a defense coordinator

That might work. I'll see how they perform next season with everyone back fit and some new additions, it's not like we haven't scored lots in previous seasons now has it?

Odegaard regen

I think he profiles as a much more physical and direct attacking midfielder than Odegaard, less of a passer and more of a carrier. The (obviously hugely optimistic) comparison people sometimes throw around is Kaka, a tall but highly technical midfielder who can drive forward powerfully with the ball then do something dangerous with it.

But its a long, long way from U18 football to senior level. We'll see how he continues to develop and how he adapts to playing against men. What's odd with him is that he is much younger than his competition right now but physically more gifted - able to consistently glide past players and shrug off challenges. He's not a player that is only relying on that athleticism or using his more advanced physical gifts to cover for questionable technical ability - like a Mikey Moore - but he's definitely benefiting from it. And so I think a big unknown is whether he continues to physically develop in a way that he can play the same type of game at senior level. He also has massive main character syndrome right now, for better or for worse, and will need to learn how to play more as part of a unit and, especially, to release the ball more quickly.

Odegaard was the highest rated youth prospect in the world when he went to Madrid. The original Arda Guler.

That being said...Dowman looks even better. What a talent.

What is the deal with left-footed players? Yet another one.
