Where does he actually play in terms of position? Not really seen a lot of him
 
£27.5m release clause apparently, and he can play CF or off either flank. Could be a very shrewd addition.
 
Looks fairly good but keep in mind Werner, Guirassy is £17 million, Undav scored 2 more and hasnt established himself at Brighton yet and Boniface just helped Leverkusen win the title.

There are a lot of seemingly available strikers in Germany. Which ones we could get here and picking one that will adapt is key.

Beier reminds me a bit of a smaller, young Kane
 
Instead of spending big money on Toney or Solanke. These type of signings make sense. Go big on Centre back and Midfield
 
He has the face of a German who is going to be annoyingly good at football. Like I can already picture him calmly slotting home the winning penalty in a World Cup semi final.

If we are in for him, I imagine it would be instead of Zirkzee. I can't see Zirkzee accepting a rotation role for us.
 
Based purely off the video posted by OP, Beier appears to be mobile and have really good shooting technique (shapes to shoot like Kane).

That said, a 5 min YT video can be misleading; any regular Bundesliga watchers around to comment on this guy?
 
Don't think we should go for him, he's decent but not a highly impressive talent for me. He could turn out to be a better player in the future but on current viewing I'd rather he take a step to a lower club than Manchester to see whether he has the ability to play at the top level.

Reminds me of a worse version of a young Andre Schurrle. Schurrle played a very similar play style but was much more impressive at his age when at Mainz.

Maybe, but we already didn’t have enough players last season and are getting rid of a few / wages freed up and then we need some better rotation options, guys that can actually play for us. Would be a hard sell but excellent business.

Would actually be a statement of intent because we never buy German players that aren't well known or over the hill (or well, both, considering Bastian is the only guy I can think of us buying that's German)
 
Now this is a clever signing that I can get behind.

Under £30m looks about to break out, quick, skilful and is a wonderful finisher on both feet.
Just get it done and stop talking INEOS please?
