Has there ever been a more absurd result in United's history?
Not a result per-se, but the penalty shootout vs Sunderland a couple of seasons back is easily the most absurd united moment I've seen, closely followed by the game of a 1000 crosses and Cantona's kick.Has there ever been a more absurd result in United's history?
I did indeed. It's a sad day when we're no longer good enough to be "not arrogant, just better".Didn't you green smiley at someone about the top 4 thing with "an who is going to knock us out of the top 4" not to long ago?
Fair play to those fans. It was coming
I was in Manchester visiting relatives and an uncle took me to OT to watch Man Utd, Bobby Charlton etc. It was October 1972.Has there ever been a more absurd result in United's history?
You're playing Monday and Thursday before entertaining Arsenal at OT Sunday? We play Monday and Thursday, and they'd have more rest.
Things aren't looking good.
You know, there was once a time where no matter how shit we were, how bad a run of form we were having, I'd always back us to beat Arsenal. You're playing Monday and Thursday before entertaining Arsenal at OT Sunday?
Jesus........I don't fancy your chances against Arsenal.
based on history alone and the rivalry we used to share, i have never called an arsenal match as i still believe in the unpredictability of it. maybe a false belief, but a belief i hold. You know, there was once a time where no matter how shit we were, how bad a run of form we were having, I'd always back us to beat Arsenal.
But now I think I'll be happy if we concede less than 3 goals, especially with the defence we currently have. Ozil, Sanchez, Giroud, Ramsey... heck even Welbeck will be licking his lips.
I feel so bad for those travelling. Honestly I'd rather watch flies feck and travel with United and watch their pure shit these days. I have deep respect for our fans. They really should start turning on LvG properly though.
