New thread, because people are lazy and want to start the new season in the old 60-page thread.

Ok, so the news is that Lee Dixon is gone. Harry Redknapp and Mick McCarthy join the show.

McCarthy should be entertaining, not looking forward to Redknapp's 'I'm right everyone else is wrong' shit.

Dixon will be missed.

Aw Christ, Dixon was the one who talked bollocks the least. It'll be unbearable if the arselicking of Redknapp is still present.

Every time someone has a good game Redknapp will probably mention that he tried to sign him but it didn't work out.

Linekar: Rooney was great tonight wasn't he?
Redknapp: Ahh well, you know you'd have to ask the chairman that, but he's a top player.

Not Mick Mcarthy.

He's a miserable, dour Yorkshire feck (sorry a bit racist but they are from the other side of the Pennines :D) & he hates United with a passion.
Agreed. Imagine a panel of him and Shearer...

The Match of the Day sofa. Finally Redknapp's comfortable relationship with the media is given an appropriate environment.

I'm certainly not looking forward to another season of Lawro, I can stomach Hansen most weeks. Shearers a boring feck and Harry's gonna be selling pukka pies and fruit baskets to us every Saturday night, great stuff BBC your onto a winner there.

I think I might revert to watching the premiership on RTE for the sheer comedy.

Just thinking about Lawro's face and voice is annoying me.
That and his stupid fecking haircut. I hate him. Think he's a smart arse, when he's actually just a massive cnut.

Redknapp: "I tried to sign him, but [insert crazy reason]"

That could easily be turned into a drinking game.

Should have skipped the first 5-10 minutes of football focus, didn't want to see that Aguero goal again..

I made myself watch it. It's going to be shown again and again, so I'm building up my immunity to it.

How long until this is on? one hour away, two hour away? (trying to figure out the time difference).
