Moussa Sissoko | Dumb as they come

I don't think ''any ball to hand (in a certain position) is a penalty'' because they are the rules is good progress forward myself.

This one isn't a penalty because it hits his chest first & there's no advantage gained by the defender is there?

One of my favourite arguments - ''too much advantage to the attacking team.'' And another rule which gives less chance to the less good team.

The way the rules are written now, if your arm is in a position like his, it is no longer "ball to hand". In order for it to be ball to hand, your hand has to be by your side. It was really stupid of Sissoko to have his arm out like that while marking a dribbling player. If he was on my pub team he would be buying the drinks after the game...

Apart from Pogba. Absolutely would swap him for any of our midfield.

In fact I’d swap him for any two of our midfield!

Not really saying much though is it. McTominay isn’t the finished article, Matic is done and Fred is woeful.

He's had a great season and is our most improved player, but my god I was furious at him on Saturday.

I don't particularly like the rules, but he's aware of them .. so what is he doing? Honestly if that goal doesn't go in we have a completely different game, going 1-0 up so early set the tone and allowed Liverpool to play it their way. We lost the CL 30 seconds in to the game because of a moment of utter lunacy.

You was the better team in the first half but you didn’t take your chances. The goal didn’t help but if you are going to go 1-0 down in an even game then the first minute is probably the best time to do it.

Nah, not against a team like Liverpool. Their defence is an absolute rock.

Soon as they got that goal they could simply sit deep with Fabinho/their other cm's giving plenty of cover and anything in behind being mopped up by VVD. Had they not got that goal the game may have been more open, but as soon as they take the lead the whole dynamic changes.

Not that it's entirely his fault, we still should have done more to create. But it put us in a horrible position.
