Cast Away..very underated and a classic in my mind. Shawshank. Forrest Gump. JFK even though Oliver Stone is insane. I cant seem to stop watching Hateful 8 at the minute either. Oh and Braveheart which has weathered well.

The Age of Innocence.

Daniel Day Lewis always made me question my sexuality, then Winona Ryder and Michelle Pfeiffer reassured me immediately after. Superb cast, great cinematography. Great film to lure chicks to bed as well. They always get emotional afterwards :D

Neutral.
Any of the Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, Potter, Bourne series as they're just too good not to watch.
Robinhood men in tights and Monthy python and the holy grail for being great fun to watch.
Red, Red2, Transporter whatevers for mindless action flick relaxing.
The Librarian movies also get a viewing about once a year at least.

And too good not to mention, despite being a series: Spartacus. Think I've seen it all 3x now. :nervous: (Predicting Banshee to be next on this list for me)

I'm with charlton66. I watch mostly old films: they had style. The Adventures of Robin Hood, which he listed, is my fav of all time. Never were Errol Flynn more beautiful, or Basil Rathbone and Claude Raines (a friend of my mum's) more evil.

Also Brief Encounter (bring a box of tissues) and a forfotten gem, I Know Where I'm Going (with the wonderful Wendy Hiller).

Also,

There's something about Mary,
All the Lotr.
The Dark Knight,
Ferris Bueller,
American Psycho
Silence of the lambs,
Eden lake,
Alien,
Smoking Aces,
Shawshank,
Green mile,
12/13 psychopaths,
American Sniper,

I'm sure there's loads I can put but I'll leave it at that for now.
Without doubt one of the best films of recent times Prisoners, absolute quality!

American Beauty - lovely picture, sound, wonderful leading character

Pulp Fiction - I don't know, but it's, on par with Lion King, the movie I saw most times and never got tired of it. I've essentially memorised every moment of it by now

I've started rewatching Harry Potter for probably the 7th/8th time. I wouldn't call myself a fanboy (haven't actually bothered reading any of the books) but there's something about the movies that gets me going. And when I'm done with the series there's always that weird feeling of 'emptiness' throughout the next day, to the point where I question whether it actually was worth rewatching it. I guess I'll always be attached to the HP movies because it literally was my childhood (DHP2 released just as I turned 18). Not to mention Emma Watson was my first celebrity crush and I'll always have a soft spot for her (regardless of how dull her acting career has been since HP).

Kimi no na wa. Not sure if it has much value for others, especially when it comes to re-watches, but to me it's a amazing movie.

These are films that if I were channel surfing and came across, I’d continue watching until the end. I would not necessarily sit down with the intent of watching start to finish.

Escape from Alcatraz
Quick Change
Forest Gump
Bourne series
Christmas Vacation
Groundhog Day
War of the Worlds
Elf
Shawshank Redemption
Pulp Fiction
Saving Private Ryan
