Let’s be honest, a lot of the British upper class didn’t merely ignore it, they supported it. Just look at the black shirts and the media coverage they had for example.
Absolutely, that’s a good point you raise, the books cover it in detail and it’s surprising how many people- not just German people, thought that when the party came to power in 1933 they were the bees knees and the answer to lots of social and economic problems that arose from WW1.

Really? I think charging a fecking stenographer for crimes of the state while letting the likes of Gerhard Klopfer or Wilhelm Stuckart walk is the real insult.
I mean, court found her guilty of playing a role in the murder of 10.000 people. How could anyone expect leniency?
