That was a bad Red card challenge which the referee missed.

But that hack came thanks to the inept refereeing display from which Brazil benefitted to begin with probably.

Very sad, can't see Brazil going through now never mind winning the whole thing.

Probably missing their two most important players for the next match, and the Germans showed their quality tonight.

Sad for Brazil, sad for the whole world cup.

But if Brazil should lose, they can't use that as an excuse. Not against us. Reus' injury was as hard for us. Instead of him we are playing with an useless Özil on the left.

That's an absolute tragedy to be honest.

I thought he was just milking the challenge as usual, he has pretty much that same reaction to every tackle, obviously I was wrong.

To be fair, you could tell he wasn't play acting this time around. He wasn't rolling around or making a mock of it, he was screaming and staying still.

Harsh on Neymar, he had so much expectation on him and did his best to deliver, but I have to say tough luck to Brazil, they dragged the game down to that level, now they can live with any potential consequences.

I'm better than Messi (even though I'm not)
That's that for Brazil, their two best players out of the semi and even if they get through that Neymar out of the final. Would be something special for them to win it from here considering the players that will come in for him

I mostly blame the referee for not dishing out cards earlier in the game. The players knew they could get away with anything. I abhor the little shithouse but it's a tragedy for him to be honest, thought he was faking as usual.

I've been shocked at times with people arguing that Brazil are getting the decisions, forgetting that Neymar has been getting murdered by the defenders from the start of the tournament.

I don't like either Brazil or Neymar, but he was getting slaughtered in this WC. Gutted for him.

If you go down rolling around 500 times a match with nothing wrong with you what exactly do you expect?

Is this a case of serves him right? The amount of time he has dived and acted like he's been shot is quiet frankly embarrassing.
I know most players dive but his diving is almost oscar worthy!

Who was the poster that would bet a million dollars that Neymar was just faking it and will be back for the next match?

You shall reap just what you sow....
Yep. It's a shame for him personally but Brazil tried to turn the match into a brawl instead of playing football so they can't complain if they suffer an injury themselves.

(Though you might have been talking about Neymar's own diving etc...)

Can you blame players for going down and rolling around when the only way for defenders to stop them is to kick them off the pitch?

No, they tried to kick Rodriguez out of the game and were allowed too much licence by the ref, I was expecting a horror challenge before the end.

When I saw his face on the stretcher, I got the feeling it was more than just faking it.

Shame for the guy, never good to see someone injured.

They didn't try to kick Rodriguez out of the came, they fouled him alot to stop momentum. If they were trying to kick him out of the game they would have put in challenges like Zuniga did on Hulk in the first half (studs up) and Knee in the back on Neymar.

A thug's challenge. Almost as bad as the studs up tackle on Hulk in the first half yet he somehow escaped a booking.
