they had to get 1 yard and 1 stop to go to the superbowl and they opted out of trying for it. i expect the WPA will back me up

I agree on the go for the TD to win it on fourth-and-goal. If you don't convert your defense should be able to hold them and get decent field position back. McVay went way too conservative there.

Rams should probably let the Saints score a quick TD here to at least have a shot on offense. Some will say "well they could miss a FG, or commit a turnover" but that's also risking neither occurring and watching your SB hopes fade to 0:00 as the Saints score. Granted, this depends on how many TOs the Rams have.
