He has the occasional good one, but this one doesn't exactly inspire me.

Never liked these kind of movies with the whole premonition theme.
Adaptation and Wild at Heart are his two best films. He's done a few good action flicks, Rock, Con Air, Face Off. Everything else has been pretty terrible.
From the trailer, this looks like it will fall firmly in the terrible category. Just my opinion.

I dislike Nicholas Cage, I just think he's a boring, rubbish actor and most his films are utter wank too.

Con Air was watchable.
Gone in 60 Seconds was a terrible remake of an ordinary film.
Face/Off was possibly the worse action film of the 90's. And that is saying something. John Travolta and Nicholas Cage are to of the worst actors of all time. They make Schwarzenegger look animated. If Val Kilmer had been in it this film could have been universally acclaimed as the worst film of all time - no dispute.
