As for Palmer to go he literally went all out. Well done and to everyone else who picked Palmer he's been the star of this competition. 5 goalscorers also that's some going.

4/5 were first goalscorers too nice odds and if you were to do all five to score be a nice return too. That's if you did do the odd few bets.
Sounds like the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
Isn't it already enough reward to have that many goalscorers while us numpties hog the likes of Ferguson and Doucouré?
Well I'm only suggesting it for the next competition besides 7 or 8 is unheard of 6 can be very rare occurance. Just feel 5 or above should be rewarded that extra point or two could be the difference at the end. Anyway only a suggestion mind competition is still in its infancy.
Also on any given week someoneo with 2 or three goalscorers could potentially have more points than someone with say 5 or even 6 respectively.
Still feel 5,6,7 or 8 should get that extra point or two and if I was up near the top or looking to drag myself out of relegation so to speak could make a difference. Besides just feel it's some achievement and should be given that extra reward.
I buy the rationale to bring in an alt source of "surprise points" that can make the difference, but would limit that to 1 bonus point if 5 or more score in any given week. It's sufficient for that objective without becoming a flukefest.
I'd sooner have bonus points in line with # of goals scored as we all make that decision across several players and weeks based on form, etc. Mixes it up more than exaggerating the impact of the original cast in stone lineup having a good weekend.
E.g. AN would be getting 4 bonus points this week and fair fecks to him if he did.
Yeah that makes sense and refreshing to be able to suggest or discuss things constructively. Have to say also how smooth this has gone compared to the last one. Shows that if we wait categorically till the transfer windows close and squad numbers are definitely locked in so to speak so much easier.

Okay, we have a situation. If a player is subbed on in say MD32 but after that there's a rearranged game from MD29 which gets played and that player who is subbed on scores, should the goal/s count? Gut says no but the text in the OP doesn't restrict it: "If OriginalPlayer scores 5 goals prior to being replaced and ReplacementPlayer scores 6 goals for the remainder of the duration of the competition, you'll get 11 points total.".
I'm leaning towards allow it for this competition but from next year onwards specify that if an earlier fixture is rearranged, only the OriginalPlayer would get points for scoring in that particular game and not ReplacementPlayer.

@Damien Bonus on Isak vs Sheff Utd along with everybody else, please.
This'll be contentious but decided to not count the goals for the player who was subbed on after MD29. The logic being that if the player who had been subbed OFF after MD29 had played in the original MD29 fixtures, if I were to count that and the goals scored by the player subbed on after MD29 in this week's MD29 fixtures, there'd be an extra game counted if that makes sense - so there'd be 17 games between the two players rather than 16 games for all others. I've decided to count the goals for the player subbed on after MD29.
For transparency the person affected was Wilt. Subbed on Bruno Fernandes in MD31 and of course he scored a brace in the rearranged MD29 fixtures. Will listen to any feedback on the matter.
