Well done Ole. I said at the start of the season that if he got us CL and the club shows signs of progress then he will have my full backing going forward. It hasn't been easy this season a lot of frustrating games but he's done enough to deserve backing from the club. We need quality signings to push on.

Credit for him about the second half season overall. He managed the team pretty well since the restart bar few issues about resting some key players.

Onward and upward. Hopefully next season he delivers a good title challenge and finish 2nd or close 3rd.

Giving him a 7.5 rating for the season.

-The team spirit is better than it’s been for a long time.
- The young players coming through.
- Has carried himself well during the season.
- Getting our best attacking players out there, giving them full backing. Martial, Greenwood and Rashford in particular.

Cons

I’d be lying if I said I’m convinced he’ll take us to league titles and CL runs. I think we’ve benefitted from a poor league this season. Arsenal and Spurs have both had their worse seasons in years. We need to step up even more next season.

Game management - a lot of work to do here.

Patterns of play - still think it’s all a bit too off the cuff. Needs to be a development in our patterns of play and our tactical flexibility. Doesn’t even necessarily need a new manager for that to happen. I’d like to see a new coach brought in.

The cafe has been a horrible place this season for those who support Ole but it's been worth all the abuse and nonsense to be vindicated in the end.

Looking forward to some more good signings and seeing how far he can take us next season.

An 8 for the season.

I’m critical of some of his in-game decisions, but he exceeded expectations by getting us into third place. Let there be no more talk of sacking him until at least midway through next season.

Indeed! I've been grinning since Lingard scored.

Superb from Ole - a real vindication of the work he has done and the progress he is making. We're far from there yet, but we're on the right track and he's earned at least another season of silence from the mugs who've been trying to tear him down since he got the job.

He put his balls on the line, backing that starting 11 to get the job done even when it seemed they were completely empty. Had it backfired his head would've been the one on the chopping block but his gamble paid off. Bruno was shattered but it was still him with the bit of quality to unlock the game, as it has been time and time again on this run.

Cheers Ole - can't wait to see where you can take this team!

He addressed many of the problem areas, full backs, a creative midfield, the front 3. Created a pretty solid back 4, but it still needs improvement. A few additions in the summer to add to the squad depth, and clear out some of the deadwood. Glad that he shipped out Young/Lukaku/Alexis and Jones had very limited playing time. He knows his best 11, just needs to add some top quality to move us onto the next level.

His "game management" can only be as good at whats on the bench ... and the isn't much in the way of game changers
Imo well done Ole for making the best of what he's got - but we need a deal of business to be done esp looking at Chelsea's shopping so far

He has won every big/vital game that he has had to this season, Ole is without doubt at the wheel and long may he reign.

Well done Ole I honestly wanted him gone around Christmas but fair play to him proved me wrong and got me excited about united again. Bring in a few players in the summer and let's see what you can do with a real team.

I have to give a solid 8/10 considering how long he was missing pogba, rashford and martial.

Fantastic!

I'm delighted for him, he's a good man, put in a tough situation with a lot of noise around his performance. No manager is perfect out there, but regardless of the circumstances he's done something many of us thought was not going to happen. He deserves a lot of credit, and I'm really interested to see how this CL position is going to affect their transfer plans and targets.

I wanted to give him a hug, he looks so nervous throughout the whole game before Bruno Fernandes converted the penalty, and he was bricking it during the VAR review. Ole knew this game was massive and what was at stake. I wonder if he would still be our manager if he didn't get us CL. Credit to him, he has turned our season around since the start of this year with the purchase of Bruno Fernandes and has remained steadfast and positive despite all the doom and gloom. I really hope he succeed but I am still not convinced he is a top manager.

If he manages to win the Europa League it really has been a good season. Hard to see it as too positive given the winners of the league.
3rd place and a Europa league win and it’ll be a bloody great season, all things considered.

We lost 4-0 to Everton on 21st April, 2019. Ole came out and said after that game that he'd succeed at United but some of the players from that day won't be part of that success. He also said that he wanted his team to be the most hard working outfit in the league.

Players who were in the squad that day but weren't part of our post January run - Lukaku, Sanchez, Young, Dalot, Smalling, Jones, Mata, Lingard.

We haven't still 'succeeded' yet, but is he living up to his word given most of those players are still on our payroll?

@Gandalf Greyhame

He's made some decisive moves, but Smalling, Jones and Mata were all given new contracts under Ole. The club apparently tried to tempt Young with a new contract once Inter were interested in January (if that's true then that's just incredible).

This is the summer that he needs to make the most moves - especially in terms of getting players out the door. He knows what he's working with, he's shown that he doesn't trust loads of them, so I am expecting half a dozen at least to go.

I don’t reckon many people would’ve predicted we would finish 3rd at the start of this season. All credit goes to Ole, still plenty of work to do but can’t argue that he’s making progress, 3 or 4 signings should really see us push further on.
I think that is totally right. I thought we might finish fourth, but wasn't totally confident about it.

Saying that, not many people predicted Spurs (and to a lesser degree Arsenal) being this shit. So that has played a role on the final position too.

did you make that? nearly pissed myself laughing
Pretty sure it's Kristian Hæhre, aka @vonstrenginho (on Twitter) who makes most of these vids with players/managers faces replacing other meme videos, mostly posted from TV2 Sport's channels (Norwegian Premier League broadcasters) as they have a lot of interest in Solskjær and Premier League in general.

Might be even more difficult to predict next season. I think City will have the bit between their teeth, Liverpool’s consistency has been incredible but I think that‘ll drop off, Chelsea will get stronger and not sure Arsenal or Spurs will be any big threat. Opportunity really is ours to kick on
