just watched this on youtube, what a shambles. I think I heard that ref won't be used again during remainder of play offs. Amongst his many sins, it was allowing a sub during penalties, they really below my mind. It's the very reason teams bring on preferred takers and sometimes keepers before the final whistle.

The worst/funniest bit of all is that the ref has twice been awarded as the MLS ref of the year. About sums up the quality here in the states.
