Our record against the top six...

7 wins, 1 draw and no defeats...

Contrast this with last season... when we lost 5 out of 6 times to the teams in the top 4...

Gotto hand it to Fergie...

Excellent point this.

I tried, in vain, to point out to DJS that LFC have failed miserably against teams from the top half of the PL and that is a big indicator that they are a mediocre side at best.

The draw against Chelsea was robbery too, Scholesy should have had a stonewall penalty.

If we beat arsenal that would be a great set of results against the big teams, it just shows it could have been over now if we had, as we should have taken six point of both man city and bolton

Which would have made it 2:2 earlier than Giggs did and who knows what would have happened afterwards...

Unfortunately, our record against lesser teams have been poorer! :(

I remember how we romped to EPL victory 2 seasons ago despite having a less than satisfactory record against the leading clubs...

Well spotted Nate - and that is why this season you are a mediocre side.

Ideally we'd beat everyone, but of the two scenario's I know what I'd rather have. When you beat a fellow contender it's more like 6 points.

Its a pity Liverpoo arnt contenders; otherwise that would mean 12 points off them

When we one the title for the first time in 26 years, we didn't beat any of the top six

So whats the point?

Stanley... don't try and be clever...

In the 92/93 we

beat

Blackburn(4th) home 3-1 (how can u forget that game)
Norwich(3rd) home 1-0, away 1-3 (almost as unforgettable)
QPR(5th) away 3-1 (can't remember the home result)
Liverpool(6th) 2-1 at anfield

So we had (at least) 5 victories over the teams who were in the top 6...

bet ur 1 of those who only started supporting Utd after 93...

So get ur facts straight b4 u start mouthing off...
