A lot of good shouts in here. I love the Pepe shout @Invictus - he's one of the standout attackers from watching Santos in that era. Hell of a threat down the left flank, overshadowed by Pele's briliance and his position on the bench for Brazil's World Cup wins. Probably more of a tactical decision to counterweight Garrincha's anarchic style on the other side, as I rate Pepe's individual abilities much higher than Zagallo's.

Uli Stein is one of these keepers whose legacy is diminished somewhat by being number 2 to another great keeper and therefore didn't build a heavyweight international reputation. Germany have had a few like that over the years if we also include Nigbur, Kleff, Klos, Lehmann and Stegen.

Stein is the most handsome goalkeeper ever.
He must be rated as a complete goalkeeper for sure,very strong in all expects of goalkeeping,terrific on the line and at leaving goal,great positioning,very strong in the air and one on one situations.He had a great mentality too(outside his childlish behavior and many scandals).

He was a hero of 1983 European Cup Final for Hamburg.If I have a chance to pick him,I will pick him for sure.
