I don't really think so. I think he'll do well as a SS in any 2 striker formations. It would be better if Skizzo just dropped back his wingers and played a 4-4-2. Though he was a competent #10, it was not his peak.

Think you are spot on actually. Still Skizzo would've needed a playmaker in the team which undoubtedly was the main issue with the side after the switch.

As the voting suggests the first half is close as you get.
