I'm contemplating changing my Pixel 2 already, was going to go for the Samsung but that finger print feck up really put me off it. I might wait for the S11. Oneplus 7 is meant to be good I think, really smooth and fast but apparently the battery drains faster.

But if you dont mind the finger print scanner issue (it will be fixed with a software update), how about the S10 or Note10, since you're already used to Samsung?

In terms of value for money go for a OnePlus 7t Pro - Best specs, most fluid OS and the weakest point being the camera which is still pretty great.

How is the battery? I saw some reviews saying it drains quick? I'm considering it but I really am put off by that at the moment.

Give peas a chance.
Whatever phone you choose, if you can afford to buy it outright up-front, you'll save money in the long run by coupling it with a cheap sim-only deal.

Moved from an iPhone to a Google Pixel 3a, which I think is a brilliant phone for the £400 quid it costs - amazing camera too.

The S10 would be a little expensive based on what I need data/minutes wise. Would possibly look at the S9 though

My missus has a OnePlus phone and the battery is pretty crap but the phone itself is very good

Not had the 7 series myself but had one of each of the previous and I always had decent to good battery life, never had to re-charge through the day.

Thing is though they charge that quick now it's moot.

Huawei P30 Pro is great. Updated my Pixel 2 and got a great bargain on the P30 Pro and it's great. Battery life is awesome and the camera is fantastic. Android 10 in the way and that super charge is fecking great. Very good device for a great value these days.

I have the OnePlus 7 and I'm very happy with it. I've never had any issues with the battery and I rarely charge it to 100 % since it charges so fast anyway. I can always plug it in for another 10 minutes if needed.

I want to get rid of my S9+, due to the battery draining within 6-8 hours of fairly moderate use. Issue is, there really isn't anything which I can justify a spend of £300-400 on top of what I would get selling my S9+.

Highly annoying!

Shame battery replacement is not worth the effort or cost.

How much does it cost? If the only issue you have is the battery, get a new one.. cant be more than £50.. Set for another year at least.

Edit: Just checked.. The battery kit for the s9+ costs around £17 here.. + GST + labor.. Yeah.. Shouldnt be more than £50.

I've got the P20pro. Very happy except not keen on keyboard.
If I was to be picky, the one thing I hate about the Samsung I currently have is the keyboard. So maybe it might suit me . Good to hear mate. After reading some reviews and doing some comparing, I think this is what I will go for.

Don't want to do it myself...I broke rear glass on a normal s9 when trying to tackle that.

I've been quoted £85-90 from Samsung and other repair specialists.

Bought Samsung S10 this spring and I love it. Have iphone as work phone and must say samsung is much better.

Edit: not relevant here.

I'm in a similar boat to you. First phone was S2, went from that to S7 edge which is my current phone. Will probably not continue with Samsung because it's become too bloated. Pretty much have to pick an android so since I'm already a slave to google despite trying to keep my privacy as best as comfortably possible I think I'll go with a Pixel next myself. Would like opinions why that might be a bad idea.

Any top tier phone is great these days. Do like me and pick the phone you find more aesthetically pleasing and with a solid OS without bloatware. I went with Sony and love it to bits.
