How to tell us you never watched Beckham play without saying you never watched Beckham play.David Beckham was an amazing free-kick specialist, but that's it...
I'm not a fan of Piers Morgan, but he's 100% on Beckham is massively overrated.
Always. About everything. But especially this.
Seriously?David Beckham was an amazing free-kick specialist, but that's it...
I'm not a fan of Piers Morgan, but he's right that Beckham is massively overrated.
"Take away the free kicks and crosses" and he's not all that. Well, take away Messi's dribbling and shooting and neither is he.
Oh no you didn't. I've always thought of Beckham as a player of the highest quality. He was part of a generation of England players who, for whatever reason, didn't achieve. His career for United was incredible though.David Beckham was an amazing free-kick specialist, but that's it...

He wouldn't play in Arsenal invincibles because he played for a better team under a better coach.
You’re thinking of David Bentley.David Beckham was an amazing free-kick specialist, but that's it...
I'm not a fan of Piers Morgan, but he's right that Beckham is massively overrated.
Obviously, I'm not saying Beckham was a bad player or something. He was a solid contributor for Man United for years. How to tell us you never watched Beckham play without saying you never watched Beckham play.
It's what I like to call Scottish Syndrome. "Yeah, the English might have all the architecture, fertile land and art but I bet they're well jealous of the way we beat them at football once a decade."He wouldn't play in Arsenal invincibles because he played for a better team under a better coach.
You should go back and watch his performances in '99. It's insane how underrated Beckham has become.Obviously, I'm not saying Beckham was a bad player or something. He was a solid contributor for Man United for years.
Beckham was arguably the best free-kick taker in the world together with Juninho.
But what a league title it was. Nobody beat us home or away all season.Irony is the invicinbles are overrated as hell since their achievements boil down to one single league title, some failed European campaigns and an FA cup win in which they were dominated from start to finish.
Their 'invincible' team did feck all in Europe for a reason. They were riding their luck a lot of the time. Nowhere near our treble winning side or 2008 team.Irony is the invicinbles are overrated as hell since their achievements boil down to one single league title, some failed European campaigns and an FA cup win in which they were dominated from start to finish.
They are invincibles yet only had 90 points. Someone may as well call them the Drawables.Irony is the invicinbles are overrated as hell since their achievements boil down to one single league title, some failed European campaigns and an FA cup win in which they were dominated from start to finish.
We probably won't but while it's a rare occasion it doesn't make that Arsenal team harder to beat than Chelsea of 04/05 or multiple United sides under Fergie. But what a league title it was. Nobody beat us home or away all season.
Something you will never see Utd do if you live to 150, but carry on.
Beckham would replace Ljunberg and they’d be a much superior team for it.
Either you have no idea who he was or you are that 2000s kid who just go by stats in the FIFA FUT card.David Beckham was an amazing free-kick specialist, but that's it...
I'm not a fan of Piers Morgan, but he's right that Beckham is massively overrated.
They did though, it just wasn't in the league. I'd much sooner see my side win the three biggest trophies in football all in one season than go undefeated and only win one (and also not setting any points, goals, goals conceded records either)But what a league title it was. Nobody beat us home or away all season.

Everyone goes on about Solskjaer and Sheringham scoring our goals in the 99 Final but seem to forget that it was Beckham who put the ball in perfectly for both of those corners.I’ve always said it, but Beckham was underrated as a player. His overall celebrity got too big and overshadowed everything, also the fact that he played alongside teams that were stacked top to bottom with world class talent. He was one of them, both for United and for Real Madrid. I genuinely do believe he was underrated.
He had a tremendous football brain, and aside from his free kicks, his crossing and delivery from wide is as good as there has ever been. He’s such a unique player, an absolute wand of a right foot, I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a player so consistently hit the mark with crosses. Every time I was one of our corners fail to beat the first man, or I watch Dalot or AWB cross it out for a throw in or goal kick, I think of Beckham..
One of the luckiest teams I've watched. They are invincibles yet only had 90 points. Someone may as well call them the Drawables.
Jesus Christ. For some ignore list bookings I don’t even bother to take a name.David Beckham was an amazing free-kick specialist, but that's it...
I'm not a fan of Piers Morgan, but he's 100% on that Beckham is massively overrated.
Pretty sure a lot of referees got brown envelopes that season, more than one occasion when the unbeaten run was preserved by a dodgy decision in the dying moments. But what a league title it was. Nobody beat us home or away all season.
Something you will never see Utd do if you live to 150, but carry on.
It probably wouldn't have. We would hear the same morons saying he only won it because of his celebrity status.Shame he got robbed of that ballon d'or in 99 as it would have done a lot for his reputation when faced with this shit storm of a take.
