They were saying he's been out since August and had surgery. It does look a strong team and sounds like they are having a very good season. The feck is Joe Ledley doing playing tonight, has he come back from an injury?
EDIT: Butterfield too, very experienced team for Derby.
Why would they? No offence to the reserves but you'd assume they have much bigger priorities.Guessing Ole and Mickey will be there tonight.
That explains it then. I just checked the league table and they're 2nd behind Everton in the PL2 so they're doing something right. They were saying he's been out since August and had surgery. It does look a strong team and sounds like they are having a very good season.
We seem to be having a bit of joy on the ball though. Derby haven't looked half as dirty as our recent opponents.
Thanks for thisThis is also free to watch on RamsTV for those that don't have a MUTV sub. Think you just have to create a log-in.

He got clattered against Reading so he may be injured.Chong to senior team for saturSat game ?
Chong and possibly Mason (unless he's just tired after Mondays exploits)Chong to senior team for saturSat game ?
We might see Greenwood on the bench, I don't think the U18s have any games till the new year now.Chong and possibly Mason (unless he's just tired after Mondays exploits)
Nothing too impressive tbhI missed the rest of the second half, how did we do?
Oh I don't know, why would a Manager new to the club not want to have a close look at the group of players just under the first-team ?Why would they? No offence to the reserves but you'd assume they have much bigger priorities.
It also has implications for the development of Ercolani and others. Personally I think once a player gets close to 30 PL U23 starts, then they should be moving up or out on loan or permanent, the only exceptions would be recovering from long term injury and young players in the first team squad but not getting much playing time.Is Williams going to be the new Tom Thorpe. Still turning out for the reserves when he’s picking up his pension.
According to the papers he was at the staff Christmas party last night, something Jose supposedly never did.Oh I don't know, why would a Manager new to the club not want to have a close look at the group of players just under the first-team ?
They might have MUTV at the Lowry, but....
He had a very early start yesterday morning. Meeting Ed, getting to know the staff/players, lead the training, prepare for the match which only was two days away. Not to mention other official errands (MUTV interview) and the staff party that DT mentioned above.Oh I don't know, why would a Manager new to the club not want to have a close look at the group of players just under the first-team ?

1-1What was the final score in this?
It's a group with Derby, PSV and PSG. We play PSV in mid Jan and PSG in late Jan. We are Group FThanks.
Means a replay, right?

Since there are 6 groups (listed, perhaps there are more ?), I guess more than just the group winners progress in the competition but I don't know quite how it works.
Didn't know about that, but I don't think anybody would have been overly offended if he'd given it a swerve and gone to watch the reserves instead.According to the papers he was at the staff Christmas party last night, something Jose supposedly never did.
I meant from his perspective, him wanting to be there, the reserves don't play again for 3 weeks and you can only learn so much from watching them in training....He had a very early start yesterday morning. Meeting Ed, getting to know the staff/players, lead the training, prepare for the match which only was two days away. Not to mention other official errands (MUTV interview) and the staff party that DT mentioned above.
On top of that making a 200 miles round trip to Loughborough to see the reserves on your first day with a hectic schedule coming up just doesn't make sense. I'd rather he spends the time making detailed plans on how to best navigate the festive period regarding training, matches and recovery than travel far and wide to watch the reserves play. I'm sure he will watch them regularly when the dust settles a bit in a couple of weeks.
