I thought it would be appropriate to have a separate thread now that the talks with the EU have started in earnest. Popcorn at the ready!

Our only hope is that we can do a deal with Trump personally that completely and utterly sells America down the river.

I would definitely not rule this out. Trump Tower London here we come!

Europe will have us over and I wouldn't blame them.

The US will butt feck us until we squeal, because they can.

I read today that they were aiming for a deal based on the Australian one.

The flaw being that Australia doesn't have a deal with the EU

And is as far away from Europe as you can get.

Plus the fact that most major trading nations already have trade deals with, or are in advanced negotiations with, the EU.
