Leicester City 2:2 Manchester United

Post-match discussion

Not a terrible result, and probably a fair outcome for both teams.

Dan James needs to stop starting games, he is way out of his depth

It’s probably a sign of the improvements that we are all very disappointed with a draw away to Leicester

Super frustrating, but the bigger picture is we’ve been on a good run in the league. Similar to the City game, win the next couple and we will feel much better.

Probably would’ve taken it before the game but going ahead twice and not winning this is criminal.

Rashford was poor today. Guess it’s a good sign we’re disappointed with a draw.

Still to take the lead twice it’s 2 points dropped

Deserved to win with our chances. Dickheads couldn’t finish their dinner. So frustrating as they were average. If James hadn’t started we win that. Just wasted it all the time.

Maddison is a diving little prick.

Was that not an OG for their second?

We're the most wasteful team in the league and we can't defend, so games like this are inevitable.

Disappointing. Had 2 really good chances to score another and we did a good job to keep Leicester quiet bar the 2 goals. We have the frustrating ability to switch off defensively after every time we score. Need to sort ourselves out in the back.

Wasn't a consistent performance but we did enough to win.

Came down to them having Vardy and him having great movement in the end.

No injury time for the injury in injury time. Not that we looked like we were trying for a winner.

A more ruthless side would have won that comfortably. We just give goals away and pass up easy chances.

As for the offsides? Pass me my pills.

It is ok. To Lose points because of own goal is shame but we are showing progress.

We're way too brittle to challenge for major trophies. Weak.

Not unhappy with a draw, we didnt play well and should have scored more.. sloppy in attack and defence.

We can’t keep conceding 2 goals. Get away with it against crap like Sheffield United but you drop points against Leicester.

Decent result beforehand but feels like 2 points dropped considering how shit Leicester were and how preventable the two goals were.

Good game, bad/decent result.

Wasteful and marginal. Some very good performances, and good squad rotation. Bruno unreal. Great leader.

2 points dropped. We created enough chances to win it. Disappointing result.

No doubt mass hysteria will ensue but we played alright and were comfortably the better team. Let down by shite finishing though.
How I feel, we did more than enough to win and annoying defensive errors cost us, we played alright.

Despite his goal scoring record, I have zero faith in Rashford when he goes one on one with the keeper

As I said in the match day thread we don't have either the dependable goal scorer or the defense (although today was not on the defense) to go for the title.

How is it that Leicester are every game consistently allowed to foul players every game and never get punished.

Genuinely terrible performance.

Leicester basically had 2 chances all game.

Rashford was wasteful, Martial is just missing right now.

Pogba contributed nothing since coming on, VDB would have been a better option.

The full-backs gave nothing all day.

Besides Fred, Cavani and Bruno nobody pulled their weight today.

Shocking considering these are the games that take you closer to a title.

United couldn't string any passes together all game.

From what I saw we had more than enough chances to win the game today. Frustrating but Leicester away is not an easy fixture so a point isn't all that bad all in all.

Oh, and it may be a good idea if there is one opponent in the box that one of your defenders has a look to see where he actually is and try to mark him.

Takeaways:
- Play Cavani at 9 and build around him
- Bailly cannot be trusted. Utterly poor concentration
- Rashford is a winger
- James only use is chasing the ball

So wasteful in front of goal and can't defend when it matters.

Tuanzebe looks very very off. Poor decision making. What is he doing passing it to bruno who is om the ground and back passing it all the time. Own goal cost us the game. He should have been tighter on vardy. Really sad to see him fall this far from his PSG performance. 2 points dropped in my opinion.

Can't be too mad at a draw. We played well, had great chances but they're a good team too. Important not to lose.

We can't defend with nous.

That cross into the box needed just one person to pick up the attacker and yet again, no organization, just blocking passing lanes and not being aware of where the danger is in the box. Among 3 players, Vardy escapes?

Maguire. Oh Maguire. Treacle passing.

Leicester were well organised but we were outrageously sloppy far too often. Bruno looks jaded

2 points dropped due to shite defending and missing sitters and they score one fluke goal.
