Pretty much my thought, though I haven't seen anything from Pereira or keane to suggest they should be given a chance.

How players like Depay, Herrera and Carrick can get caught so much with the ball was baffling, Smalling has gone into Moyes mode where he has lost all composure, Blind one of our best passes resorting to hoof ball, Mata being Houdini. Lingard missing a simple opportunity through lack of composure. All these players really let the youth players down. Nothing to do with tactics and game plan.

You just answered your own questions. If players like Carrick, Herrera and Depay are not performing, why not put in Keane and Pereira and see if they produce anything.
