no point in acting surprised or disappointed, no point in overanalyzing anything. better team with an actual coach won today. it's that simple.
Irony is Bruce is hardly a decent coach himself.

Can anyone say for sure they’re surprised?

No one fears us. The pre match talk is probably “ Hey lads it’s Utd!”

End of match talk

A. New. Low. Something needs to give. Now. Or we're staring a relegation fight right in the face.

Love Ole. But sorry. He has to go now. Had to put my dog down today so watching this was a great tonic....

Thank goodness we play Liverpool next. That will be the final nail in the coffin.

5th goal in 8 games for Newcastle, who now moves out of the relegation zone.

Steve Bruce's very first win against Manchester United in 20+ games.

2 points from relegation zone.

0 wins in last 11 away games.

Yet Ole and EW will still get to keep their jobs.

Rashford trying to shoot from 45 yards would have summed us up better.

Good game, some promising signs. We won't win the league this year but top 4 is in sight.

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"
Shite.

Sorry Ole, loved you but bye.

That said, players out hasn't helped and (sadly), players IN haven't helped either.

I've never seen a group of United players that have so little positive mental attitude/desire. Hope a new manager tells them the truth.... a huge group of pampered babies. I actually feel sorry for Wan Bissaka, Maguire and James.... sold a dream, actually a nightmare.

If Ole really cares, he’ll leave now, we’re completely fecked with him in charge. He’s not got a clue.
I mean, do you care about something so much that you are willing to give away three years of your annual salary? There’s no way a rational person would resign. He might at best agree to a mutual consent departure.

Don't really see how we're supposed to do any better with this team but maybe I'm blind to it.

The group of players we currently have at our disposal are shite. Compounded by injuries to others but still, shite.

We can't do anything until January, we've just gotta hope that the international break provides us with a chance to get those players back.

Ole is tactically inept and surely we can't persist with playing this system but we will and for that he should probably go.

We are so shockingly bad.

Nothing to offer going forward. I was trying really hard to support Ole but, I am starting to wonder if he is the right person for the job.

Moyes, LvG and Jose played better football in spells, Ole simply has to go. It's about standards being set, if our aim is winning the league after 3 seasons under Ole, the attacking side of our game has to be so much better, as it's no existent.

Still can’t believe we sacked one of the greatest managers of all time
Mourinho had his problems, but he didnt hide the fact he knew this squad weren't mentally capable of representing a giant like United. So instead of trusting him to clear the squad out, we sack him, then realised too late he was right, and then gave that rebuilding job to an amateur at this level. This all stems from the top, and nothing will change when the foundations of the club are so rotten.

Not even up for debate anymore. Ole has to go.

A top class elite manager would struggle with this squad, it's unfit for purpose and with the current injury crisis I think it has a shout for the worst 11 in the league right now.

However, you can't defend Ole anymore. 15 points off the top, 2 clear of the relegation zone, 2 wins in 13 league games, no away wins for 9 months, scored more than once in a game one time in 9 months. It's just horrendous.

He 100% has to be sacked before Liverpool game.

He's done. He cannot continue to talk hot air about effort and state the same ridiculous platitudes. This team has zero attacking structure and is clearly being coached appallingly.

Yes, the players at the top end are dross and we have injuries but we don't look like scoring a goal at any point in most games. It's over.

Don’t want to see Ole sacked but would like to see him resign.

The players are shocking too. The lack of quality and ideas is unbelievable.

Utter garbage. Just offering so little, and when we do get something close to an opportunity a cross is overhit or something.

Let’s put this into perspective. Leicester beat this lot 5-0.

We couldn’t even create a chance on goal. The Pereira shot from 25 yard was the only save their keeper had to make.

Two games in a row we have created nothing.

When we let go of Lukaku I was shocked we let Sanchez go as well. We are still paying his fecking wages yet he doesn’t play for us and we have no options up front. It is absolutely laughable.

Tuanzebe the one bright light.

Doesn't help Maguire missing that header, that's 9/10 times a goal for him.
