They were poor but we were superb. If we'd brought our shooting boots we'd have had many more. Very pleasing, time to back it up with a run of results.

Best I’ve seen us play in a long time. Dominant from start to finish. Imagine we had a proper number 9 out there.

Great performance. More of this, please. If we keep on playing like this while getting a good striker we should be good going forward.

Best we have played in a long time , dominated from start to finish.

We need to back it up now on Saturday evening , we need to consistently see this kind of performance before we can start talking about real progress. But very happy tonight.

We smothered them for the entire game didn't we? I genuinely don't remember a sustained period of pressure they had
Cant believe they kept trying to pass to Ronaldo :D

Such an enjoyable game, made spurs look proper average.

Literally a perfect performance. Should've scored more if anything. Almost had 30 shots ffs and they did nothing.

Sancho was disappointing still, he'll be benched once Martial is in. Fred, Casemiro and Martinez all share MotM for me, can't decide between them.

Antony and Rashford were excellent I felt. Best Bruno game in ages, delighted he finally got a goal. Fullbacks brilliant. Varane imperious.

Also when is it time to talk about the improvement in De Gea's passing?

Hard to gauge that performance. Spurs having only 2 attacking players basically meant Conte gave us the most of the pitch to do what we want. We did win most of the 50/50s, I saw nice patterns of play emerging in midfield, including 2 dummies from Bruno to release Fred, that can't be happenstance, credit to ETH for that, finishing is still an issue.

Martinez is our new Evra in terms of consistency, guy puts in at least a 7 or 8 out of 10 every match.

Spurs were incredibly passive which helped but that was an outstanding United performance, best I can remember us playing in a long time. The players played with an energy and confidence showing there was a plan that they were comfortable with and believed in and an intensity that has surely been created by the manager setting actual standards.

fecking brilliant performance. Massively dominant. If not for Lloris, that would’ve been 4 or 5. Fred MOTM.

Brilliant performance.

Now let’s hope we can play like that every week. Dalot was impressive. Casemiro class and Fred surprisingly good except his shooting.

Best performance I can remember since Fergie. Totally dominated in all areas of the pitch.
Not one player I'd rate less than 9...just brilliant

Great performance, still not creating as clear cut chances as desired and there was element of luck to both goals but hardly one player put a foot wrong in terms of commitment and game plan.

Probably our most complete performance for a long time, and we maintained it throughout the match. Spurs played into our hands of course by setting up the way they do and encouraging the pressure but many teams struggle to solve that puzzle and we shut down 99% of what they tried to do and just controlled the game.

Great performance from everyone except Sancho. We are looking like a team, playing well, and we are fun to watch again. Thank you ETH!

This should be a statement win about top 4.

Yes!! A brilliant performance by every player in red + Lloris. Never gave them a sniff and just kept on attacking. Repeat on Saturday, please.

Sancho was about the only player and maybe rashfords finishing, that you'd demand more off. Top class

Dominated in all areas tonight. Fantastic performance. Ronaldo should be no where near this team, and him sulking off near the end, go home mate.

Brilliant.

Nothing more need to be said.

Only Sancho that wasn't anywhere good enough. But today, lets think about positives.

Best game of the season. Rashford could have and should have scored two more. Annihilated spurs, the whole team with the exception of Sancho was 8/10 and more. Shaw, Casemiro, Fred, both CBs, Bruno...amazing stuff!

Excellent team performance from us. Really impressive stuff and we looked really good as a unit.

Think the front 3 did very well in setting the tempo from the front today and a big reason why we played well.

Individual performances could be improved though. Sancho despite the assist wasn't really involved and while he worked hard wasn't much of a threat. Antony similar but to a lesser extent. Rashford was the most threatening but again his finishing was a bit off.

When Martial is fit, he should come in for Sancho. Aside from that, think this is our first choice side for a bit. Fred was so good today that Eriksen should probably be on the bench vs Chelsea.

Our best performance yet! Start to finish dominance. Completely dominated across the pitch. It would have been embarrassing if it wasn’t for Lloris. Hope we bring this against chelsea.

Every player played really well. Top performances. Fred and Dalot have had a lot of stick lately but they were both outstanding.

Spurs were just dire  . And we made them look that bad.

Excellent performance. Lloris and Rashford‘s finishing stopped Spurs getting humiliated. Kane and Son were non-existent.

I‘ll be fecked off if the media decide to focus on Ronaldo. Hardly fecking news anyway that ETH doesn’t want him and Ronaldo himself doesn’t want to be here.
