Shame about the injury. Super boring performance but a win, the most important thing.

3 points and Pogba is back for the next league game.

That's about it as far as looking on the bright side goes.

Another win. Onwards and upwards.
Pogba is back in the next game. Wouldn't start him vs Bristol.

It was ugly but we go again.

We're somehow still second. Don't know how long.

Got there in the end and decent in the first half, but seeing us resorting to sitting deep and relying on last ditch defending against a team who haven't won in the league since August is a little bit grim.

Another unconvincing win and another weekend of football where the media will be slating us while praising city. We really have lost our aura and you really can see a new generation of kids and players alike wanting to support or join our neighbors over in Stockport.

Absolute garbage second half. We were being pinned back by West Brom - think about that for a second. Still, a win is a win, so hopefully Pogba's return will help.

Amazing stuff from us. We should count or blessings that we get served this end-to-end stuff on a weekly basis.

What the hell was that second half? Not that we were particularly great in the first, but that second half was awful.

Complete lack of determination in that second half, and lost all bottle and drive. Glad to have gone away with the win, but could have easily been so different.

Yet another "a win is a win / we could have lost that, last year" performance.

Not a great performance from us especially in that 2nd half but feck it it's 3 points in the busy Christmas period away to West Brom. I'll take it.

Relieved. It was shocking how we let our authority seep away. I imagine Mourinho will be going mental about that.

The three points are what count though.

Good first half, started the second half well, then it went a bit crap for 20 minutes, but we played well again for the last 5 or 6 minutes to close the game out, so not too bad overall.

Standard WBA away day we were made to work for the 3 points but we got them. Main thing about Christmas time is getting points. We controlled the game mostly well, goal came from a couple of minutes of skittishness. That won't go down well in the dressing room.

We've won 2 in a row because we've played two poor teams. A good defense and clinical finishing is earning us points but it's very tight.

I'm sick of conceding these stupid goals.

Good win.

But there's a serious problem. Why do our players keep losing their mind each time they're put under the slightest pressure ? It was a good, professional and even boring performance till they scored their goal and after that we went all over the place, lost all our composure and couldn't string 3 passes together.

Mourinho needs to sort this out. Our coaching should work on this problem.

We need to buy a cm, real fecking fast.

Also ditch this 4-2-3-1 nonsense, we have no RW or control in midfield with that formation.

We score and we stop playing and more often than not we concede.

When will we learn.
Rojo was terrible.

Valencia’s injury is a big blow. At least we get Pogba back.

Standard away win made a little more difficult by WBA upping their game in the second half and then trying to foul everyone on the pitch towards the end. Herrera and Matic looked like they are starting to learn to play together.

Bring back Pogba.

Crap second half, Herrera and Mata are completely ineffective. Thank Christ Pogba is back.

Good first half. Rubbish second half. That game shows that we've improved from last season but it also shows why we aren't good enough to challenge for the title in equal measure. We made it more difficult than it needed to be like we always do. Still 3 points and on to the next one.

6 wins out of 7. tumescent football again at times but who gives a feck? 3 points all that matter over xmas period.

EDIT: West From did feck all for 77 mins. Got a lucky goal which made seem like we were hanging on by a thread. We weren't.

First half was very good. I'll never understand why Mourinho instructs his team to stop playing football when they're ahead. It's infuriating. Terrible second half.

Our performance in that second half after Valencia got injured was absolutely pathetic. Ball retention was a joke and we ruined so many promising attacks by just passing backwards. Almost got punished. Happy with the performance and that we'll get Pogba back but if Tony V is injured for a while we're fecked.

Seemed to go from super comfortable to hanging on at the drop of a hat. Or more accurately, with Valencia coming off.
