Agreed, and if Eriksen had done what 99% of players do and held his face when Cunha handed him off in the face it would have been our free kick and not theirs.
So you want our players to cheat?

Incredibly one sided game, Wolves did nowt, I knew as soon as Eriksen committed the foul for the free kick what would happen, yet again completely undone by our lack of ability to put the ball in the back of the net, very good chances for Hojlund, Mount and Bruno, all should have hit the target and one should have gone in, several very dangerous crosses especially across the back of the area, hate to say it but we need a player like McTomminay crashing the box, right now if we could score reliably we would be winning most matches.

Also Amass has impressed me more than Dorgu, not hating on Dorgu am sure he will do well but isn't setting the world on fire, but Amass looks more lively and crosses the ball better not a bad problem to have but just wish we had given him a chance and spent the Dorgu money somewhere else.

Fredrickson did very well, Wolves did not test our defence much, against tougher opposition will judge again, but certainly looks like an option at CB, given our inability to keep defenders fit we need lots of back up

Dorgu had a couple of really nice crosses from the right which, if we had a real striker, might have led to goals. Dorgu and Amass fighting for LWB is a good thing for years to come.

Nothing up front again. Ok, we’ve conceded, but a good striker or two up top and we score 2 or 3. I’ve not been one for shitting on Rasmus as I thought he’s young enough to get better, but I think he’s run out of time. He’s not going to suddenly turn into a great striker.

It's hard to see where points are coming from in our last few matches. Wolves seemed like one of only two games in the run in that we might win.

Bournemouth (A) - They're in poor form but we struggle against them at the best of times.
Brentford (A) - They're strong at home and I have very little confidence we'll take anything from this.
West Ham (H) - surely this is the one, they're in terrible form (not like us). It's three days after the second leg of the semi-final which isn't ideal, but hopefully we can win this one.
Chelsea (A) - no
Aston Villa (H) - no

I don't feel confident about the semi-final either. That said, if we can get through, I would fancy us to win in the final against whichever team we face.

I can't wait for this season to end and not have to watch this team or worry about football for three glorious months!

Amass looked good I thought.

Fredricson was really impressive for a debut.

Amass, Fredricson, Mainoo, Dorgu, Garnacho are all 20 or under. Obi came on and is 17.

IF you take it out of the context of the season, the fact we can field a team with this many young players and still largely control a game against an in form PL side, is actually a positive.

None of these players were why we didn't win. They actually all did their part to give the team a platform to win but were let down by more senior players having bad decision making/finishing..

Same old story - created enough chances to at least get a draw. I thought Hojilund was unlucky with one of them: if he had been on a scoring run, that slide would have ended with a goal, but he had a chance to free Dorgu late on but did an impersonation of Garnacho...

Their free kick was very good but I do wonder if a top-class, larger keeper might have saved it (VdS for instance).

We won't lose at home to West Ham but that's the only point(s) I see us getting between now and the end of the season

More gamesmanship than cheating. But this comes as a result of referees not calling obvious fouls but at the same time find time to blow the whistle on minimal contact.
In my book it's cheating, it's no different to diving

It was a good training session for us. Job done.

There should be no moaning whatsoever about dropped points. Yes of course we should all moan about the disastrous season, but given where we were going into the match the result was completely irrelevant.

We started with 6 players aged 22 or under on Sunday and were comfortably the better side against one of the most in-form teams in the league right now.

I really liked how well we played around their press and how well we defended in not really giving them a sniff unti lthe free kick wonder goal that likely had an xG of 0.05.

Had United won that game 3-1 as they should have, the narrative would be very different. I also still can't understand how it wasn't a penalty on Mount when the keeper went in studs up on him. I assume it's that bonkers unwritten rule that it's never a foul if the player gets his shot off first - which does not apply anywhere else on the pitch.

How’s it cheating when he did actually hit his face? Plus you completely missed the point if you see what I was replying to.
If it needs explaining then I can't help you

Stop being condescending, if you can’t have a conversation without trying to act all superior, please don’t bother quoting or replying to my posts. Cheers.
