I can think of two positives here:

1. We won.
2. I don't have to pay for a ticket and sit in the rain to watch this shite.

The player Jose wanted to sub (until an injury) scores.

That was a pathetic second half. It’s worse than awful.

I enjoyed it. Jose destroying the bottles made it totally worth it.

Was entertained for the entire 90 mins.

Saw the Lyon vs City match and skipped this bore fest.

I really don't know how to feel. Jose will feel vindicated for playing this way which I really can't accept.

Fellaini is our best target man. Fact.

If you want to hoof, go all the way and play him as striker.
Completely agree.

If we are going to continue with this shite style its a 100 times better to start Fellaini rather than Lukaku.

Gutless. Smalling MOTM. Please just forfeit games if Pogba is not playing

Hey man since you're already here, could you perhaps bring us stats of how many times in the 20/21st century Fellaini has scored in minutes from 85+ onwards? All clubs, all levels if possible, thanks.
I swear this happens pretty much every game now.

  • We're through
  • 2nd ball aggression resulted in a goal
  • 1:0 perfect Jose result
  • Fellaini with the winner
We're on!

A hoof flicked on by Lukaku, turned in by Fellaini

Peak Mourinhoball.

We got progressively worse and worse as the night went on. That Fred sub was breathtaking and not in a good way.

Our football is utterly disgusting. Shamefully so, and if Mourinho can look in the mirror and put that all on the board then he capable of an astonishing level of delusion.

Hoof to Fellaini, third year and that is his only noticeable tactic. Credit to Fellaini, he does what he does well, horrific that we are so reliant on it.

We need him(Mourinho) gone, nothing he is doing is worth persisting with.

Terrible. Matic should drop back to CB if he plays anywhere.

Got the result though. We’re through!

That felt like the Rooney winner against Sheffield Utd in Van Gaal's last season.

We score a last minute winner and you're still sat there furious and depressed about how dogshit we are.

Watching this United side play is like watching your favourite pub burn down in front of you.

I can't believe we had the gall to play 'Glory Glory Man United' at the end of that.

The first half was ok build-up with no composure whatsoever in front of goal, second half was a disgrace.

Well done to DDG for that save, well done to Fellaini for staying at it until the end and showing literally our only piece of quality play in the box tonight (I'll ignore the handball). Everyone else ridiculously poor in that half, worryingly so.

Absolute dross. We seriously need to invest in some forward players this summer.

Still don't know what Lingard brings to this team.

Smalling was good, as was DDG. Fellaini decent enough.

That was just brutal. Fellaini should not have started at all in the first place. No brain or vision or skill.

Matic was hopeless as well.

Christ that was bad.
