First game kicks off later today. Score predictions?
1-3 : Auba x2, Pepe and i'm not going to pretend i know any Brentford player. We can't draw (or lose) having 5 of the top 6 in our first 10 games. :nervous:

Promoted teams always raise their game on their opening game as though it's their cup final but eventually fall short. Happy to see Brentford promoted, was gutted to see them missing out on last season. Think this will be a high scoring game. Probably something like 2-3 or 3-4 to Arsenal.

Brentford 0 - 0 Arsenal, a boring match that no one cares.

I look at the artwork on the new PL ball and I just instantly think of that psychedelic frog from Futurama.

Edit: and 50 years goes back to when Dalglish was a nipper. That's what you call burning your bridges.
I hadn't even thought Dalglish and Sourness

Edit - genuine typo but it works

Quite a few people are tweeting the same leaked lineup. Take with a pinch of salt until something official comes out.

No Obama Yang, Lacazette or Saka. Brentford have a real chance.

Don’t really care who wins. Toney hat trick please since he is in my fantasy team.

I always thought he looked quite poor when I watched him. Obviously his goalscoring in the Championship means he wasn't all bad. But I do think we should be cautious about overrating him.

These are the top Championship goal scoring seasons of all time. How many have actually proven to be any good at PL level? Not many, imo.

I think Arsenal will surprise and win this comfortably by two or three.

Whatever happens, at least there is something new in attack to look forward to. I hope Balogun can be what Nketiah couldnt.
Saka the only impact sub on the bench is a bit scary :nervous:
