They used to say ‘the big teams get all the decisions’. Well the big teams get all the VAR decisions now instead. They still get tonnes wrong with VAR as well - it just needs to be binned off into room 101. Why cant VAR say to the ref ‘no one touched Foden and you’ve awarded them a free kick in a goalscoring position for a slip’
Cause the rules are stupid with regards the application of VAR. Its crazy, if Foden was a yard further forward, the VAR would have been allowed to look at it and clearly said no penalty. Its incredibly stupid thats its not applicable for free kicks and corners etc..

There's nothing to be said anymore about the state of refereeing. It's beyond compromised and corrupt and there's no subtlety anymore.

When a Luton fan can be the main VAR decision maker in a relegation scrap game near the end of the season, and the obvious conflict of interest is just blatantly ignored, nothing can be done. It's manipulation in its purest guise.

It's quite incredible listening to Redknapp saying "he slips" while we're watching Foden demanding a foul be called. It's not a dive, it's not tricking the referee, it's not gaining an unfair advantage; it's just an honest slip.

On paper there really isn't much between Liverpool and mid table teams quality wise. Once Goofy leaves they're fecked.

Klopp dropping Salah is adding more fuel to the ‘It’s just like when Ferguson left United’ fire. Remember when Ferguson gave Moyes the monumental Rooney headache in the summer of 2013?

Moyes gave the first six weeks in the job trying to sort out that whole mess instead of being allowed to hit the ground running on a positive footing. Similar vibes here with Klopp, Slot and Salah now.

'Klopp, Slot, and two smoking Salahs' is a great film.

Interesting tactical choice from moyes not to start ward-prowse given how good his set piece delivery and how poor Liverpool looked at defending them yeh other night.

Dias pulled down after getting away from the defender on the edge of the box.

English refs are so predictably bad. You get away with everything in the first 15 minutes. If you're a sub you can't breath on the opposition.

Klopp never really managed to build a worldclass midfield. Even with their prime team it was Henderson/Wijnaldum/Fabinho. And this rebuild is lacking in that area as well. Ultimately a big reason for them coming up short for many trophies. Mind you this current team has problems all over the pitch.

This looks very clearly offside surely?
Wasting time on things they don't need to and skipping over clear penalties for Forrest.
The level of intelligence these folks.
Anthony Taylor should not be officiating this weekend after the debacle at Goodison park.
