Chelsea will never have a better chance of beating City. Surely they're going to struggle even more if it ends up going to extra time again too.

Its hard to tell how good City's CB's really are as they arnt tested must because their team always has 65%+ possesion and plays most of their game in the other teams half of the pitch.
No it's not. Stick a bad CB in their line and they would stick out as a sore thumb both ways

Were some decent chances, surprising no goals.

De Buyne having one, been woeful, wondering if Pep will hook him at ht.

Tbf, City would ruin Palmer. He is too direct and exciting. He would either fail to fit their style (probably why they sold), or he wouldn’t be mouldable into another one or their clone-like attacking midfielders.

Funnily enough he's less direct than Foden

He has an appreciation for time and space. He'd fit like a glove in this City space. Would possibly even unlock additional capability they've lost with Gundogan

Chelsea have this in the bag. City's legs will collapse in the second half after mid-week.

About 400 million on the bench though, and that's with haaland out altogether. Their depth is the simple reason they win the league every year. As well as winning countless league cups with their subs

Another guardiola wankfest on bbc, while lampard praises city for palmer - who they didn't give a shot to.

What like Akanji?
Spoiler alert: he's not a bad CB :D

City's game is high wire. Their CBs defend very high, have to be able to receive and pass under pressure, have to be able to facilitate and maybe even dribble in midfield, with just space behind them

It's easy to be an average CB in a side that plays deep and does nothing but clears balls.

Maguire is simply a good CB and look at his struggles for us. Ok now place him in this backline...

Chelsea have such a big gap between their good group of players and their shit group. Gallager, Jackson and Cucurella are just all so, so shit. Madueke too.
