Anthony Martial hasn’t been able to establish himself as a permanent fixture in the Man Utd line-up this season, and Real Madrid may have been alerted.

The 22-year-old has scored eight goals and provided seven assists in 28 appearances in all competitions, which is a decent contribution when he has regularly been made to come off the bench.

Having started just one of the last four Premier League matches, and 10 in total so far this season, it would come as no surprise if there is a sense of frustration on the Frenchman’s part, but it’s unclear as to whether it’s enough to force him to consider his options.

It seems as though Real Madrid are ready to test United’s resolve, as they will make an £88m bid for him, as perDon Balon, as re-reported by The Express.

It’s claimed that Martial is an alternative to Harry Kane and Mauro Icardi, with Zinedine Zidane leading the calls to sign his compatriot.

There’s no denying that Martial is a highly talented individual, and perhaps with more faith and playing time he would flourish at Man Utd, just as he did when he initially joined the club and played under Louis van Gaal.

However, question marks remain under Mourinho as he doesn’t seem entirely convinced, while the fierce competition for places doesn’t help with Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rashford, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Juan Mata and others fighting for the same places.

Further, as per BBC Sport, Man Utd signed Martial for a fee which could rise to £58m, and so if the £88m bid from Madrid is genuine, it could allow the Red Devils to make a more than decent profit on the French international to potentially reinvest back into the squad where it’s needed more.

Based on the reaction from many United supporters on Twitter on a regular basis when Martial isn’t in the starting line-up, they would be very frustrated if he were to leave Manchester. However, it remains to be seen whether or not Real Madrid launch an assault to sign him, and if they’re successful with it.

These young boys with some cash on the hip and a bit of fame don't know how to appreciate women, but feck that, this Martial story is utter bullshit, I think of the forwards even Jose realizes he's the only one with the quality to build on long term and he has responded to Mourinho's man management better than most do, no way we sell him.

Carlos Soler:
One of the biggest talents in Spain at the moment. Has been a huge part in Valencia's success so far. Good dribbler and passer. Rumoured to Manchester United for the summer.

As a result, Mourinho is looking to delve into the market for a creative, hard-working midfielder who could be compatible with Paul Pogba, making Valencia youngster Soler a viable target.

Manchester United’s bright start to the season led pundits to tip them to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title. Their dip in form coincided with the loss of Paul Pogba to injury and Manchester City’s winning streak, which has seen them fall way behind the league leaders.

Since the return of Pogba, there have been suggestions of over-reliance on their star man, and Mourinho sees Soler as the ideal man to take away some of the burden, while also providing the missing link in midfield for the Premier League giants.

The bone of contention for the Red Devils is the transfer fee. Manchester United will have to shell out the €80 million buyout clause in Soler’s contract to secure his services. Valencia are unwilling to even entertain offers for bids lower than the figure, while the Premier League heavyweights are pondering a player plus cash offer.

On the other hand, Manchester United are also weighing up the option to buy Soler and loan him back to Valencia to ensure the transfer is wrapped before other clubs table bids and start an inevitable bidding war. It now remains to be seen if a transfer sees the light of the day, as Soler continues to grow in stature.

WHAT MAN UTD HAVE PLANNED FOR PULISIC
According to the Independent, “Manchester United are willing to strongly challenge” Liverpool if they make any move for Pulisic.

The report states that, although United see the winger as an excellent footballer, they also see the youngster making millions for the club on the commercial side of things.

They write: “While the 19-year-old attacker is obviously seen as an excellent football signing in his own right and fill a hole for Jose Mourinho’s side, an extra angle is the view that talent could well make him the USA’s first megastar in the sport, with all of the commercial value that will bring. United’s marketing side would see him as another Paul Pogba in that regard, as do many other suitors.”

The report goes on to state that Liverpool are expected to make a bid for Pulisic in the summer with Klopp a “huge admirer” of his.

But there is no guarantees that he will want to leave Dortmund in six months time having been given opportunities in the first-team this season. He’s played 23 times in all competitions, scoring four goals, and has previously talked about pleased he is with his development.

“I am playing every week in the Bundesliga, in the Champions League, against top teams,” he says.

“When you do that every week, you are going to improve. When you play against the best players, you’re going to grow. I’m learning a lot: tactically, technically, gaining strength.”

But if Man Utd and Liverpool come calling in the summer, Pulisic might have a tough decision on his hands.
