Embarrassing for the club and the city of Manchester, is this how things work down there? Imagine if they had something important to cry about, like human rights or something not as utterly trivial as a football club (which is doing quite well by the way). I hope the police now show their influence and make sure the ones not obeying commands are removed by force, that’s the only way certain idiots ever learn. How can a club be held responsible for alleged fans who are no where near the ground? It’s a legal matter for the police to deal with the individuals concerned, not something Ole and the team need to be punished for.

Sky Sports add the team coach is getting a police escort from the hotel.
Players and officials boarded the bus around 6.30pm and are expected at the ground shortly following a two-mile journey.
