Interesting how time alters perceptions. Her daughter had only one significant role in an undistinguished career, yet her death is reported as the passing of an icon. Debbie was a big star for many years and it's largely forgotten. The contrast between this thread and Carrie's is quite striking. Sic transit.. indeed!
