I have wondered where De Gea would rank had that fax transfer fiasco gone through. He'd have been on a UCL three-peat with Real, likely around for the 2022 UCL win, and would have shown his class repeatedly. Not sure where Courtois ends up in 2018/thereafter, guessing sticks with Chelsea or goes to Barca perhaps, or maybe sticks with Atletico but where does Oblak go.

More likely we don't win those 3 CL with De Gea in goal instead of Keylor.

It's a tough one. De Gea was still at his peak in the three years you won the CL (17/18 was one of the greatest ever shot-stopping seasons) so in theory he would have been great for you. However there have always been question marks over him in pressure situations, so he might have started shitting the bed for you even earlier than he did for us when his decline started after the 2018 World Cup.
