Well tbf he's implying Wan Bissaka in that sentence isn't he so yeah and no.You were the one who brought him up!! Stop lying.
That is kind of sad, but it will change now.We haven’t paid a single bonus in 4 years
"Ole signs new deal until 2024"
For a lower table team AWB is superior. For a team with the intention to win PL or CL Trippier is superior. Imo.Well tbf he's implying Wan Bissaka in that sentence isn't he so yeah and no.
Stand by what I said though. He's not good enough and that's why he didn't go to the Euros and Trippier did.
Totally agree. He's not a top end player. Pep wouldnt go anywhere near him. Neither would Klopp. He's just got too many flaws. For a lower table team AWB is superior. For a team with the intention to win PL or CL Trippier is superior. Imo.
Southgate is infallible according to you then? Okay.Totally agree. He's not a top end player. Pep wouldnt go anywhere near him. Neither would Klopp. He's just got too many flaws.
Trippier isn't amazing. I never said he was either. However overall he's a better footballer and fullback. Southgate agrees too.
he could have been talking about Camavinga as the 3rd/backup? There's no two ways about it you've brought AWB into this thread however you try and sneak your way out of itWell tbf he's implying Wan Bissaka in that sentence isn't he so yeah and no.

Tripper did because Trent was injured. The 2 RBs would have been TAA and Walker.Well tbf he's implying Wan Bissaka in that sentence isn't he so yeah and no.

Well that’s the whole point as he’s out of contract next summer and doesn’t look like he will be signing a new deal there.Absolutely agree. That is an aging and weakening squad. They are also not doing great financially so their rebuild could take a while. Don't understand the Mbappe to Real talk, unless they plan on trying to get him for free next summer. Varane is making a smart move in coming to us. Have a feeling we're going to have a really good season.
On Amazon Prime. If you have it, type in his name and it comes up.What documentary?
I was all over this back then, was gutted we didn’t get him. Seemed like a young Rio type (to me at least.)Tweet

Not even the Sancho saga can hold a candle
Bet ye a tenner AWB plays more than Trippier (if we sign him)Well tbf he's implying Wan Bissaka in that sentence isn't he so yeah and no.

How players enter the leagues/are originally acquired plays a big part. Big difference between a player walking for free when you merely used a draft pick on them (or traded players/other draft picks for them) vs. spending 8 or 9-figures on the player. PSG paid 180M euros for Mbappe. Seems like letting him walk for free would sting a bit more than Cleveland losing Lebron who cost them a draft pick. The #1 draft pick has an implied valuation and you can argue over what that is, but it doesn't hit the club's accounts like a transfer fee in football does and you get more for free every year (not the same pick, obviously). Huge financial incentives to sell players vs. losing them for free when you paid so much to acquire them in the first place.I think the biggest difference is American pro sports contracts and European Club football is that the contracts are completely transparent, in addition to so many options and bonus to be creative to circumvent salary caps, especially NFL, NBA, and NHL.
Free agency in American sports is very common because each league has a PA/union and they are very influential.
Then we will continue to lose the ball cheaply and concede goals at the back post at will then.Bet ye a tenner AWB plays more than Trippier (if we sign him)
No doubt in me mind.
This isn't far fetched at all but I also think he's also relishing the challenge of PL footballHe's coming to us to get paid. And the top European clubs will not get him because nobody will pay the wages we will and Real didnt want to pay him the money because they aren't desperate to keep him.
Otherwise It hardly makes sense to leave a established Champions league contender to join a Europa League level team with all due respect unless it's financially motivated
What’s your list of CBs ahead of Varane?Well his passing isnt great. His decision making isn't the best. He loses concentration. His marking is suspect.
Very quick and makes a brilliant recovery tackle though it can't be denied.
Definitely has more than two flaws.
Well given nobody anywhere has said Camavinga is remotely close to joining I think you're clutching there massively. He's clearly talking about Trippier in my opinion. Happy to be proven wrong.he could have been talking about Camavinga as the 3rd/backup? There's no two ways about it you've brought AWB into this thread however you try and sneak your way out of it
Those comments weren't about Varane. I was talking about AWB because someone mentioned three signings coming. What your list if CBs ahead if Varane?
Awesome! I live down the street and commute to Carlsbad for work. See you soon wearing a Varane shirt!Nice. I watch United matches there semi-frequently. I’m up north in Del Mar.
I'll take that bet, easy moneyBet ye a tenner AWB plays more than Trippier (if we sign him)

Those two wouldn't go near him because of their style, but that doesn't mean AWB isn't good enough. Prime Mourinho would probably love him. Ideally you'd like your full back to be brilliant in attack and defense, but we're not City and can't spend 40-50m on a FB or two each window. AWB needs to improve positionally as a defender, but he's an absolutely immense 1-on-1 defender . Having Varane, another world class CB , in our back line should help him improve tactically (currently playing next to Lindelof, so he'll now be next to either Maguire or Varane), but having a proper player in front of him on the RW (Sancho) should also help him improve his attacking play. Trippier will offer something different (i.e. more going forward) and give us tactical flexibility and may also have a Telles-Shaw like effect on AWB.Totally agree. He's not a top end player. Pep wouldnt go anywhere near him. Neither would Klopp. He's just got too many flaws.

Tarkowski, Mings, Luiz, Lindelof. What’s your list of CBs ahead of Varane?
Yep, that's exactly what I was thinking, perhaps he'll be right this time.Isn’t this literally what he said like a week ago?
