Currently working my way through these as outside of the Avengers and Iron Mans I’ve not actually seen most of the others. Watched the first 6 in the last couple of days. All enjoyable, Hulk was a bit crap though and I think Norton does an average job of the character compared to Ruffalo. Captain America was better than I remember it to be too.

What are your favourites?

  1. Iron Man (2008)
  2. The Incredible Hulk (2008)
  3. Iron Man 2 (2010)
  4. Thor (2011)
  5. Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
  6. The Avengers (2011)
  7. Iron Man 3 (2013)
  8. Thor: The Dark World (2013)
  9. Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
  10. Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)
  11. Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
  12. Ant-Man (2015)
  13. Captain America: Civil War (2016)
  14. Doctor Strange (2016)
  15. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. (2017)
  16. Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
  17. Thor: Ragnarok (2017)
  18. Black Panther (2018)
  19. Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
  20. Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)
  21. Captain Marvel (2019)
  22. Avengers: Endgame (2019)
  23. Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019)

Haven't seen that many but from the ones I have seen the two Guardians and Thor Ragnarok were my favourites.

I've only seen Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Guardians of the Galaxy and about 30% of the first Avengers movie. I didn't like any of them, but then again I generally can't stand films like these, so my opinion is probably invalid.

Too many to rank for me so I'll just list my favourite 5.

Avengers Infinity War
Iron Man
Captain America Winter Soldier
Captain America: Civil War
Captain America: The First Avenger

I also actually enjoyed Endgame if you just take it for what it is as a cinematic experience.

I’m also making use of my time off by watching them all in the correct order. Same as you I thought Captain America was better than I remembered. Iron Man 2 and Hulk tomorrow which I know aren’t my favourites but Thor and Avengers after that to look forward too. If I were to pick a favourite it’d probably be one of the Guardians of the Galaxy films.

Norton was more of a Bruce Banner from the comics that I more fondly remember. Also, liked the missing Marvel's one liners in the Hulk flick.

Anyway, that's one huge list of films I really don't care to revisit any time soon.

I've seen them all, some more a few times (I grew up on Marvel comics).

Like first Iron Man, Captain America, Guardians (very good, very different and funny), Ant Man, Black Panther and Infinity Wars... the bit were Captain America has been tw@tted, almost alone against the entire baddie army and STILL gets back up is a favourite moment.

Doctor Strange is an ok film but Cumberbatchs accent grates on me like someone scratching their nails on a chalk board.

Both Guardians, Thor Ragnarok, Iron Man and Black Panther.

The rest are either OK or meh. I don't think any are particularly awful, except Thor 2. That stunk.

Civil War bugged me. I don't know why they changed it up so much from the source material. The comic book is awesome. The film was not.

The Deadpool films are better than all of the above.

1. Guardians of the Galaxy

- A brilliant film. Consistently fun and funny,
2. Thor: Ragnarok
3. Avengers: Infinity War
4. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
5. Avengers Assemble
6. Iron Man
7. Captain America: Civil War
8. Avengers: Endgame

9. Ant Man and the Wasp
10. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2
11. Spider-Man: Homecoming

- Good. Nothing special but worth watching.

12. Ant-Man
13. Doctor Strange
14. Captain Marvel

- Perfectly enjoyable but not more than that. Unremarkable.

15. Black Panther
16. Thor
17. Captain America: The First Avenger

- Average.

18. Iron Man 3
19. Avengers: Age of Ultron

- Messy. All over the place.

20. The Incredible Hulk

- Back to average, but moreso than the others.

21. Iron Man 2
22. Thor: The Dark World

- Dreadful, and the only two that I would actually refuse to watch again.

Unrated. Spider-Man: Far From Home

- Not seen it.

Really enjoyed the first Thor so disappointing to see The Dark World isn't held in high regard! Watched Iron Man 3 last night/this morning (mess of a film) so will be watching The Dark World later.

I honestly don't think it's that bad and it is much better than Iron Man 2 and 3.

The rest all kind of blend together into a blur for me. Only the shit ones really stand out like Iron Man 2 and 3, Thor The Dark World and Captain Marvel. Some of them I'm not even sure if I've seen them. Have I seen Dr Strange? I don't know.

Superman 2 and Dredd shit on them all.

Dr Strange
Infinity War
Iron Man
Gotg

Are probably my top 5.

Iron Man 2, Thor The dark world, Black Panther

Are 3 that were ok but bottom of the pile. If we class the hulk movies as mcu I would add them, just dont like him as a primary character, much better how he was used in avengers and ragnarok

Watched Dark World and Winter Soldier today. Dark World was very disappointing and instantly forgettable. Winter Soldier however was great!

I got through another 2 today which were The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man 2. I remember Hulk being disappointing but who the hell thought casting Edward Norton was a good idea? He’s so opposite the Hulk it’s crazy, which might be to some extent the point. Either way, whatever reason it was that Mark Ruffalo took over, it was a good decision.

Iron Man 2 was actually better than I remembered. I forgot how much I liked him as a character. Thor and Avengers Assemble tomorrow which will be a lot better than today’s 2 I think.

Positive surprise - Antman.

I'm trying to like Spider-Man, but I feel they keep missing the mark with Spidey movies from a very long time.

I enjoyed the Guardians of the Galaxy films, the first Spiderman one and Infinity War. Other than that I find them pretty bland and at worst, incredibly boring (Avengers: Ultron I'm looking at you - total shite)

The actor and characterisation I like, the last story was dogshit though it was stupid.

The end credit scenes though have a lot of potential if they make another one.

Does spider man into the spiderverse count? It’s a Marvel movie technically. Though not part of the Infinity Stones Saga.

GOTG 1&2, Ragnarok, Infinity war and the Captain America sequels are all decent films. The rest rank from meh to poor, in my personal opinion.

None of them but then i prefer proper films with real acting and not adults wearing stupid outfits doing stupid things for stupid people to go "ohh thats exciting when that superpowered person hit that other superpowered person "
The general level of the films is pretty poor, but there’s a handful of them which are actually decent films. The outfit complaint is kind of misguided, the history of cinema is filled with silly outfits.

Dr. Strange looked great. The weird perspectives and environment shifts were amazing. Pretty mediocre film saved by great visuals.
