Pochettino should imo, Mourinho will become. Happy either way.

By the way I thought Mourinho was confirmed when I say the Mou vs Giggs thread locked :(

Id have preferred a "Who will be United's manager next season" thread

Anyway, Giggs is my vote

Edit: oh i misread the should. Not Giggs.

I went for Pochettino but I will be happy with Mourinho.

Sounds like Chelsea have wrapped up Conte

Will be interesting to see the reasoning for choosing giggs against all those options

Tuchel would an interesting choice, he has a superb job at Dortmund, but I can't him moving. Voted for Mourinho, think it's between him and Giggs.

It should be Mourinho. Trophies galore, his sides attack and defend.

The price you "pay" is the occasional public meltdown, but that's the price we paid for Ferguson.

May as well have Pellegrini too if Rafa is going to be included.

Why is Benitez even an option?

Gone for Simeone, though I think it'll be Mourinho.

Nice feature.

Should really extend the deadline until the end of the euros. When Ireland win them you'll all be screaming for O'Neill and Keane.

It's funny looking at this list of quality top-level managers and realizing that in the end you just know we're going to give the job to Giggs.

You've got to laugh, really.

Can't see it if I'm honest. Reason being, he would surely be in charge already if that was the case.

He thrives on hatred though

Just look at his time at chelsea

Vile and disgusting abuse... Wins europa league
Valid point, maybe we should get Roy Keane as his assistant and SAF as his DoF, would spur on all partys involved.

I thought blanc had just signed an extension?

I understand why you say that. Maybe there is massive compo payable to LVG if we sack him while a CL place is still mathematically possible.

Because I don't trust the club to make the smart decision and get Mourinho or someone of his ilk - my gut feeling tells me Giggs has been the plan all along.
Of course Giggs is the plan, in an ideal world, after LVG has built a successful team, after LVG's third season, when the team is so good that Giggs can't do anything wrong, that doesn't mean that they can't adjust their plan, should something change things.
