The draw for the groups in the Rugby World Cup 2007 was made today in Dublin. The tournament will be based in France with some games being played in Scotland, Ireland and Wales.

England will again face the Springbok's a mere 7 months after meeting them on their way to picking up the Webb Ellis Trophy. Scotland and Wales have been handed tough draw facing New Zealand and Austrailia respectively, whilst newly crown triple crown winners will face host and current 6 nations champions France.

The draw will become clearer once the qualifying games have been played and the usual suspects of Figi, Western Samoa and Tonga expected to qualify along with the ever improving USA Eagles, Canada and Uruaguy The European places will be expected to be made up of Italy, Spain and Romania.

The comptetion may be three years away but the big 6 nations (England, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, France and Ireland) are already in the planning stages and everything from now will build toward the final in Paris.
