Wonder if they have some short range SAM like Buk or Pantsir, or manpads. Otherwise would be pretty naive assumption nothing would get scrambled against them.
They should be better armed than the Russian army given their better / more hardened experience fighting in Syria and other places.

It is worth noting that Rostov-on-Don is 1000km from Moscow.

It's not like a staging point to march on the capital.

when you create a country based on "nothing being the truth"....everything is lies and truth at the same time. They are stunned into paralysis.

I doubt the MoD can even grasp if this is real or not.

He's a known bullshiter, American citizen with Ukrainian roots but most of his tweets a pure BS.
Yeah but it wouldn't matter if he's Ukrainian in the US or not. He could be doing the same thing most of these guys are, which is pulling from telegram channels in near real time.

The problem is that he seems to be reposting whatever he reads on Telegram. Telegram just like Twitter is 99% bullshit.

That's where most of the action is in terms of near real time reports from people on the ground. Unfortunately, this situation is moving to fluidly for us to wait for tweets with written articles behind them, so most of the info is going to come from Russian social media.

Obviously twitter is heavily going to self-censor to show certain things in the "info war". But this is what I mean about being stunned into paralysis. It's always been a game. Truth are lies and lies are truth. When someone stops playing the game, how do you formulate a response?

wait whats going on , someone give me the cliff notes...is a coup happening?
Wagner has gone allegedly launched a coup against the MoD. Prigozhin is sending his forces into Rostov, the MoD and military officials are being frog marched in front of a camera and asking Wagner soldiers to arrest him. Moscow is on lockdown of sorts and a APC has been seen in the streets.

All I'm saying is that this account is known for posting anything he comes across on Telegram so it should be taken with a pinch of salt

Holy shit. So what's the status on bakmut if they are basically turning around and headed to Moscow.

Not as of yet. Just a lot of troop movements by Wagner into Russian cities near Ukraine.
Quite interesting developments

Surely Ukraine aren’t standing still now? It must be chaos on the Russian front lines

Trouble is, much of southern and eastern Ukraine is mined now, so they wouldn’t be able to move as quickly if they tried. Also, all Russian troops are still on the ground there. Only Wagner appear to have left.

This is the general who supposedly was Prigozhin's closest ally in the army. VERY interesting that he is the first general to tell Prigozhin to stand down.

This could be an elaborate trap. Ukraine has to be very careful.

Just got back from a meeting & perused the last few pages.

Can't wait to start seeing daylight clips of who is where & in what condition.
