You know, as well as me, that football supporters are the same, whatever the club they support.

I can only speak about people I know and freinds, but they don't dislike or like Manchester United fans anymore or less than Arsenal fans, Chelsea fans, Liverpool fans etc.

I agree in terms of individuals, but you know that certain sections of fans are less popular than others.

You're telling me that there isnt a general consensus that United fans can be a little 'arrogant'?

Rightly or wrongly, there IS that view amongst so many.

No, I have actually never encountered anyone who's singled out Manchester United fans to be a little arrogant - and even if I had, that's a far cry from saying that we're 'despised', as you put it initially.

I have, however, got lots of friends who supports smaller clubs, and who says that fans of bigger clubs are arrogant.

I think there's a difference between fans from different generations.

Let me put it this way, rival fans come on here and are so regularly abused for no reason other than that they support LFC/Arsenal/N E Other...

I'm not just saying this, but at KT First Team forum, United fans arent abused like this.

I think it's more kids on here than at other forums I have visited.

However, I think this forum is different in that YOU as a rival supporter has to prove yourself as not being a wind-up before you're accepted.

But, you as a rival team's supporter gets away with far more on here than you would at say KT or YAWN.

It works both ways.

I was a regular on KT years ago, and I would not have got away with a headline like yours re. The Sun for a start, nor would I have got away with name calling your manager and staff.

It mught have changed now, I have not been then for about 2 years.

If you don't like it on here, I don't understand why you're hanging around though.

KT has changed from what you describe, to be honest.

As for why i remain here - it's because among the masses, there are some excellent posters on here who DO have some respect and are great to debate with.
